I played part 2 first by accident, but was no problem.
The graphics are great. The story was different with the vampires etc.
PLEASE give us some inspiration to complete each task it’s fun to anticipate what will happen if you finish everything.
Collecting the diamonds only to buy random things can get boring if it doesn’t do anything in the end.
Please bring back the upgrades on items!
Again at the end, there’s nothing special. You go back just to buy the last item and that’s it.
Have more interactive things to do. Maybe we could ride a motorcycle, bite their necks, make our own ice etc just trying to think outside the box. I do like the adult theme but am alright either way. Thank you so much for your hard work
Janky dialogue
Hard to get into the story due to awkward dialogue. Feels like it was translated but not polished.
It’s Getting a Little Old
Longtime fan of gamehouse games but just a few critiques here. The gameplay style that literally all your time management games are now (Emily, Undercover, Primrose Lake, Arcane Arts, Elena’s Journal, Barbarous etc) is getting pretty old.
On top of that, this game feels rushed. The sounds are the same as on Primrose. I shouldn’t hear a raccoon squeak when I find the journal on every level. There were also a lot of typos during the story.
There were a couple of buttons that overlapped each other in a few of the levels on mobile. Example: at one of the bars I kept pressing for the beer but I would select the liquor right below it and the beer would overflow and I would have to start over.
Last thing, although I love that the protagonist is finally a person of color a lot of the rest of the poc in the game are the help, in the background as “thugs or criminals” and not a part of the main cast. Other than that the game is ok. Yall can do so much better though cuz you already have in the past with the success of the Emily games.
Sincerely, a loyal fan for many years.
Very addictive time management game
I love this game and all of the games in your series. Please keep making more! I love the storylines. It keeps me entertained.
I love the STORY u guys put it with its so interesting
Its soO good the only reason im playing is for the story idk how they come up with it i also LOVE fabulous angela there so good and the stories they have are amazing ty but i just wish the shifts were less
I like it
This game was really exciting. I'm looking forward to the release of the next game.
loved this lil game
kept me on my toes, and really enjoyed the story. made me wish this was a tv show or comic i could read. I hope there’ll be another chapter in this story in the future.
quite a few spelling/syntax errors but they’re easily overlooked. pacing is fantastic. the game mechanics itself are great, with just a minor annoyances.
without trying to create spoilers, the hookah hose was insanely difficult to attach. the hitbox should be a little bigger. and the *light* beer you had to pour was a pain in the neck. if you were standing anywhere near it while waiting, it didn’t want to stop the flow. if these two things were fixed, it’d be perfect!
Didn’t like this one
Everyone talks so mean to each other on this game and the DJ turntable is pointless and annoying. I’ve played a couple of these before and they were fine, but this one wasn’t enjoyable for the above reasons.
Stuck at Level 59-will update review
First I have to say. I love this game!!! I played one level and I was hooked. I have been playing it for two days straight. Anyway, I got to level 59 and the game will not let me pass this level. I have tried many solutions to try and pass the level and even when I do things right at the right time in the right place and nothing. It keeps telling me I failed. I feel like THAT is a rip-off!!! Anyway, if you guys can respond to this review I will be willing to re-edit my review and tell others how you handled the situation. Otherwise, I will stick to this review and I will tell everyone I know, NOT to try this game
Not the Worst
As far as the story goes, it's not that great but it did hold my attention, until we got midway through. It plateaued fairly early in my opinion-- I only finished the game just to see if it played out how I thought it would but was left on a cliffhanger.
I really liked hopping from one place to the other as we got further into the investigation, but I didn't like that all the places were basically, bars. The main focus seemed to be on drinks, where I would've preferred different types of locations where the main item was different. For example, before Vera started impersonating her sister, we could have had a couple levels where she worked/volunteered at the store that she bought the wig from-- something like that.
Most of the goals seemed to be the same, and then some were confusing. Like, when Vera was trying to avoid Sam's gaze there was no indication in how I was supposed to do it-- there was no warning that Sam was looking at you-- you just saw that you failed the mission. So, from my experience of playing the other games, I decided to keep moving around and passed. Most of the missions were "serve this guy" and "serve these people over here".... which is why I call this game boring.
So, what I would do for the sequel is amp up the gameplay by creating more interesting minigames, diversifying the type of locations in the game, creating more interesting level missions. Lastly, I'd go more in depth with the characters we get to play as. I liked swapping characters, but it seemed mostly random.
