Description

Verify gives your accounts an additional layer of security by requiring two-factor authentication (2FA) of each login attempt. With this feature enabled, users will need to provide their password and a time-sensitive verification code generated either in the app or via push notification. Verify can also supply users with a set of single-use passwords that can be stored locally on their phones should they ever need to circumvent an issue with their main 2FA method.

Installed…doesn’t work

Adding MFA to my account. I log in as instructed, and chose to set up automatically. The message back is that the app is not installed. Another badly tested app by this company.

Verification bombing

Activated 2fa, installed app. Constant notifications. Wouldnt stop. Intrusive notifications every 3-5 seconds. All logins from inside my network, that is, from me. Me not logging in. Only way to make them stop was to uninstall. Was this from camera feeds? I dont know. At any rate, now i have to figure out another way to log in. Not going back to this until its at least out of alpha.

“UI Verify is not installed”

When trying to enable this app on the Unifi’s MFA settings page, the page does not generate any secret code. When you click to setup automatically, it erroneously says I do not have the app installed when I do.

Unclear gui.

There no help on how to use this app

I don’t want to be forced to use your app

Let me tie in my preferred TOTP app, please. Or at least let me replicate the account from my iPhone over to the same UI Verify app on my iPad.

So far it’s excellent

As the title states the app is excellent thus far. Simple, clean and has Apple Watch support.

Completely Screwed Up

You went from a great, easy-to-use interface to one that is just impossible to make work.

2 factor authentication is a mess to set up

Locked out of account due problems with the process to set up 2 factor authentication for the unifi program
