UnitedMasters: Release Music

After three years dealing with this company I will say it is not worth it and does not provide anymore value for the extra you pay

Very fast customer service, nice interface, and great opportunities

The dates are so glitchy when picking re releases. It won’t let you pick a date when you scroll past it

They won’t let me update payment method or purchase from Apple I have to purchase directly from UM website and then they don’t accept visa or master card They basically sabotage my account every year and my music gets deleted and I have to start over again… soon as I start T get motion they start delaying my music Stalling my payments and destroying my methods Thumbs down in terms of service T customer It would be way better app if there were more operations catering to artists This is just wack af

This app only allows people with iOS 16 or higher to use the app they don’t keep there words what so ever I’ve released my music and it wasn’t sent to any digital song stores

It’s a great app. Good for posting music, but I wish we would be able to release music videos.

Says my album art has hate speech, extreme violence, or minors participating in illegal activities… my album art absolutely has none of this. Nevertheless, the app insists it does and refuses to let it release. Despite repeated explanations, it keeps giving me the same stupid excuse. I’ve had to push the release date back multiple times due to this apps mistake. It says to verify my age, I should create a trolley account. But then proceeds to give me no instructions on how to do so… no worries I’ll just check YouTube or google… there’s nothing on either. Finally find the trolley website… doesn’t even send a verification email to let me sign in. I just want to release my music with my album art, that’s all that matters to me. Why does it insist on creating problems where there are none.

As an artist who started using UnitedMasters at the age of 13, it’s sad to see the platform evolve from a free alternative to a more expensive and disappointing option. Having my older songs deleted due to the new ‘Select’ Subscription program feels like parting with a significant chapter of my musical journey. UnitedMasters was once a place for independent artists to get their foot in the door in the world of music streaming, but with the shift towards a more restrictive free/non-subscription plan, it loses its essence as an accessible platform for aspiring musicians. This change raises concerns about the platform’s commitment to supporting emerging artists on their creative path. Have now switched and paid only 40$ a year for DistroKid asides from the whopping 80$ UnitedMasters subscription plan. If you are lowkey broke though, go try ‘amuse’ they are good, true, and free alternative .

How are you going to say the app is free when you down load it and it says $12.00 a year than when you click on the free trial is says after two weeks you’ll have to pay $72.99 a year? Big scam! 💯
