Great solution for using Linux/Windows in an iPad

The UTM Remove app is the only one that effectively allows access to VMs from an iPad. Although the documentation is quite poor, mostly referring to installing UTM on iOS/iPadOS (which is irrelevant to this app), overall, this is probably the best remote VM app I have used. However, there are a few drawbacks: it doesn’t support Trackpad/Mouse, which would make it a five-star app, and you need to change the touch input to touch mode. Additionally, ensure you enable the UTM server on the desktop side.

UTM SE doesn’t require JIT to work. It would be a good service if you could deploy it and make it available on app store.

Not Ready for iPadOS 17.5

iPadOS 17.5 (21F79) While it is frankly, sad, that this solution even needed to be crafted due to Apple "Security Marketing Run Amok" policies forbidding a *full and proper implementation from being released*, unfortunately this "workaround" to bring functionality and performance of Desktop UTM to iPads...simply doesn't work. It seems unable to create VMs. Go thru the setup, hit save, there is no vm. As such, I cannot understand the previous 5-star ratings. HOWEVER, as *soon as* I can actually make and run a vm and it is even *remotely* as performant as it is on a MacBook, I will absolutely change my rating to match. As it stands now, UTM Remote...simply doesn't work on iPadOS 17.5 :(
