I love being able to work out the UV in my area. This is a very handy app on my phone and Apple Watch, to help keep me and my kids safe. The only downside is that it only records to Apple health when running the app from the watch. If I run it from my phone, the data doesn’t log with Apple health. Minor thing, but that would make it a great app if it logged from both.
Used to be great app now It crashes immediately after opening
This is a very attractive app and I love the way the whole screen changes colour to match the UV rating. Unfortunately the data is wrong. It’s currently stating the UV in my location is 8.2 with clear skies. Every other app I’m using (plus Siri’s own forecast) says it’s 4 and overcast. I’ve made absolutely sure the location is correct. As such, the app is completely useless for its primary purpose.
Keeps crashing when opening the app
From info on here looks good, can’t even open the app though! Just crashes straight away.
When I dowloded and open it did Not Show any information ... and tried tried again , the apps closed suddenly ...
Rubbish. Download on iPad iOS 13.3. Bluetooth and WiFi on and location enabled. Thinks I’m in Perth. Actual location is Menorca (Spain). Uninstalled pronto.
Pretty much all of the features above are unavailable until you pay for the upgrade. There is no free trial so there is no way of knowing if you’re throwing your money away, and based on the misleading information in the App Store, I won’t be risking it.
The widget associated with this app gives a live update, but the app itself gives only the first reading of the day (unless you restart your iPhone). So when it is midday and high UV index it is telling me it is low at 0.9. I thought about upgrading.. the pop up says $1.99 but when you try to buy it the cost is £9.99. I know the exchange rate is poor but c’mon! I will be deleting this app and looking for something that does what it says on the tin.
Good app, downloaded this while in Australia, and the upgrade was $1.99, “excellent I thought, can justify that” but when I went to purchase it tried to stitch me up for £9.99! Why on earth should I pay that when it is sold in Australia for $1.99?!
