UVUE

This is such a bad app that I will never buy another dashcam from UVUE

The dash cam itself seems to be decent. The app on the other hand isn't great. New car, new dash cam-front and rear, and cannot even alter the setting to turn off “parking mode”…when you hit the “off” setting for that function, the whole app crashes and takes me back to my smartphone homescreen. Also, there are other aspects of the app that don’t work either. For instance, when you want to select “off” against the External Battery setting. You can click on “off” but nothing happens…it’s like the app doesn’t register your input. I have checked my wi-fi, and it’s fine, and I’ve deleted and re-installed the app as well. Issue still remains. I am hopeful that the issues that are present with the app, do not translate to issues with dash cam and footage down the track. This was not a cheap unit. It’s also worth noting I have tried to “report a problem” to developer through App Store, but was not able too, and when you go through to the developer direct (via link provided on their page), you get a 403 Forbidden message. Not great.
