Also ich muss sagen, dass die App einwandfrei funktioniert, bei längeren Fahrten Bericht noch manchmal die Verbindung ab. Da ist noch ein wenig Verbesserungsbedarf. Aber sonst passt es!

Alle Busse, Straßenbahnen, und U-Bahnen der VAG Nürnberg verfügen über TFT-Monitore. Diese zeigen Fahrtinformationen wie Liniennummer, Fahrtziel, aktuelle Haltestelle, Linienverlauf sowie Umsteigemöglichkeiten mit Echtzeit an. Via Bluetooth und über die in iOS integrierte VoiceOver-Funktion werden die Informationen an Fahrgäste nach Auswahl des TFT-Monitors akustisch weitergegeben. Eine Besonderheit des VAG-Lotsen ist ein Vibrationsalarm, kurz bevor der Nutzer sein Fahrtziel erreicht.
So gewinnen blinde und sehbehinderte Fahrgäste an Sicherheit und können die Verkehrsmittel der VAG Nürnberg noch leichter selbständig nutzen.
