With this app, Koenig & Bauer offers users support in authenticating banknotes.
In banknote printing, specific printing processes with unique characteristics are used to make it more difficult to counterfeit banknotes. This uniqueness is used in the app for authentication by means of simple scanning the banknote. In this case, it helps ValiCash distinguish genuine banknotes from counterfeits.
• Follow on-screen prompts that guide youthrough the process.
• Automatic detection of currency and denomination upon presenting a banknote.
• Walk-through steps guide you through further identification techniques to help identify counterfeit currency.
Please note that only euro banknotes are currently supported. Support for other currencies is planned and will be implemented at a later date, stay tuned!

Leider noch nicht mit iPhone 16 pro max kompatibel
Keine Nutzung möglich. „Gerät wird nicht unterstützt“. Schade
Keine € Banknote wird erkannt
Habe mehrere 5, 10, 20 & 50€ Banknoten, mit weißen als auch mit schwarzem Hintergrund probiert. App gelöscht und neu installiert um eine eventuell Fehlerhafte Datenbank zu aktualisieren. Kein Erfolg. Etwas ist schiefgegangen. iPhone 15 Pro Max Jetzt funktioniert es besser, jedoch kann keine Banknote verifiziert werden.
Funzt oder auch nicht
Bisher hatte ich noch kein Falschgeld , so dass eine Beurteilung eigentlich nicht möglich ist. 3 Sterne ziehe ich erstmal ab, weil die App eine Standortabfrage machen will. Ok, kann man abstellen. Was ist der Sinn dahinter? Kommt bei Falschgelderkennung etwa gleich die Polizei?
Nutzlose
Ich hab jetzt einige Geldscheine ausprobiert zu scannen und auf Echtheit zu prüfen. Unterwegs auf die Schnelle mal ein Geldschein zu überprüfen - ergebnislos. Keiner der Geldscheine führte zu einer erfolgreichen Prüfung. Handy war ein iPhone 15 Pro… bitte überarbeiten.
Leider komplett nutzlos und funktioniert nicht
Installation der App easy. Anleitung ebenfalls easy. Allerdings habe ich von verschiedenen Geldscheinen (5, 10, 50, 100) nicht einen erfolgreich testen können. Fläche glatt, Geldschein glatt, Kamera ausgerichtet, aber Validierung jedesmal nicht erfolgreich. getestet mit iPhone 15 Pro max Schnelle Reaktion und Behebung der Fehler. Anschließende Tests mit verschiedenen Banknoten waren erfolgreich 👍

iPhone 14 pro mit iOS 16.6 wird wohl nicht unterstützt. Bei einem gültigen 100 € Schein erscheint immer das Ergebnis „Nicht erfolgreich“
Eine klare weiter Empfehlung
Ich habe die App bereits länger her auf einem iPhone 13 Pro installiert, aber bis jetzt noch nicht wirklich benutzt. Jetzt, im Urlaub kam die App zum Einsatz. Sehr einfache Bedienung, alles selbsterklärend. Ich kann es nur weiter empfehlen.
Sinnvolle App mit Ausbauppotential
Die App ist praktisch, um schnell mal eine Banknote auf Echtheit zu überprüfen. Praktisch ist, daß sie sich Tag und Uhrzeit sowie den Wert der Banknote im Verlauf speichert. Es gibt leider keinen Hinweis darauf, ob der Verlauf nur auf dem Telefon gespeichert wird oder nicht. Ich würde mir wünschen, daß auch noch die Seriennummer der Banknote mit gespeichert wird, bzw. es die Option gäbe dies zu tun. Die Informationen sollten dabei außschließlich auf dem Telefon gespeichert bleiben.
