VatMap

Used it, happily, for several years despite being a little glitchy. It was recently updated to address changes in the VATSIM data feed. However, even though the specs say iOS 9 or greater; it's not working with my iOS 10.6.3. It's an old iPad so this is down to me, not the app but the specs should be updated. When I upgrade my iPad, I will get the latest version of the app.

Overall, this app has so many awesome features that make it the go to for VATSIM on mobile. I like having charts available, and the ability to see where your friends are. If the things below are solved or added, I’d be willing to pay $0.99-$1.99 for the app. A few things that need improvement: - General performance bugs (sometimes the map doesn't show active planes and ATC on startup) - Nicer graphics and UI - More airports for charts - It would be awesome if you could tune into different frequencies without connecting to the network

Not only does this ap have a easy to use map of what’s going on in vatsim and where act is, you get all the charts one could need for popular airports! Game changer.

Functional, pretty buggy and doesn't look great but it works, definitely not as good as desktop programs like VATSpy but it is okay for it being mobile.

Make sim pilots flying easy.Simple,clean .You can get a lot of flight information.Highly recommend.

Bug report. Toronto center ATC sector 125.77 doesn't display when staffed. CTR icon shows but sector is not shaded.

I love the new design for Vatmap, it's much more "modernized". The app itself seems a lot less resource intensive, so it runs really smoothly now. And charts are really nice as always, because I don't have to search FAA databases: the app does it for you! Overall, a great app with amazing improvements all the time

It is especially useful if you want to virtually fly online full screen and cannot use Servinfo. I am not sure if the refresh function works properly or it has to be done manually. (Even set to refresh after one minute automatically I still had to do it manually. ) I also could not use the charts function but maybe that will be fixed in time.

Just what I was looking for! A Vatsim ATC and Pilot coverage app for mobile device. Works great on both iPhone 5 and iPad 4. Only thing holding it back is the track/path for aircraft which IS in beta but still glitchy.

Much faster and more reliable than the desktop program
