VAVA Dash

Never count on this app n dashcam. Cam always keeps on disconnecting. U won’t get any video clip,when u need them the most on any incident.Totally garbage

Ever since the app update , dashcam does not connect to app. VAVA support NOT willing to help Do not recommend

Videos won’t load, any time you exit the app for any reason you have to reconnect to the device, reboot the device etc. just a steaming pile of garbage. Would give 0 stars if I could

This week I was prompted in the VAVA app whether I wanted to extend my warranty, I clicked cancel. Immediately after I was promoted in the app to format my SD card (first time ever) I followed the prompt. Since them, my camera is rendered useless. Will not stay connected to my phone, is not recording any clips, snapshots or anything. Fix this VAVA!

Problem with my camera starts when the app was asking for permission to geo location and to internet. For 1.5 year I was able to see and download videos using only local WiFi and setting location to NEVER. So, by some update to app I LOST ACCESS to camera. The vava support initially attempted to solve the problem, but later stated that I can use cam without app. And if I want to see recordings I do have to remove SD card and play it on the computer Vava suport was not able to explain why suddenly app cut access to cam and ask for full access to location and your internet wifi For me it is very suspecious

When I think of loop recording, it’s continuously recording the entire time...unfortunately it only has an option of up to 3 minutes....but even when I record it, it almost looks like it’s only recording 20 seconds and I have to keep pressing the record button which of course is dangerous to do while driving (so much it being safe)....soooo idk what that means

Recently it disconnects as soon as it has connected to the camera wifi. Very annoying! Renders the thing useless.

App never loads properly. Have to wait 10 mins to see footage

So far so good

I am very satisfied with the camera, however I am disappointed that the camera isn't able to capture license plate numbers.
