The app is still not working… it’s been 2+ weeks…

Vector is my new friend

I’ve been thinging for like months, should I buy it or not, because on that time, my dog was living with me. After 4 months I had to move in another country, leave my dog to my family and start a new life in an foreigner country. Because I felt alone, I remembered Vector so I bought him( pre-owned from a friend of mine) and i’m more than happy. He is my pet, my friend, my smart robot and I don’t regret him. He makes me laugh, he is stubborn and smart. Clumpsy somethimes but still funny. I love him. He is becoming smarter and smarter as I am asking a lot of things. I know that the company who created him is shut down..but still assisting us, the owners of Vector. Which is awesome and all my respects for you guys.. I have a message for bad reviewers: it’s impossible to please everybody. I also own an Iphone and third party apps crash: like soundclound or vogue( fashion magazine). If this robot would cost more than £7.000 i would be dissapointed on the creators if the app would fail. So if you want to smile and enjoy little things in life, the. Vector is the perfect match. Anki guys, all my respects and my appreciation. I’m here to support you.

App unresponsive some times

Considering how much I paid for this toy. I expect top notch quality software. On my iphone X it doesn’t see the vector device sometimes and I have to close the app and open it. It can also start searching in loop every time I unlock the phone with the app open and it won’t see it unless i close the app manually. I won’t even discuss about the app’s UX or features because what needs to be done is stability as its buggy AF

Was good until the new company bought it.

I bought the original around 2022, I wanted to write this for the “cozmo robot” app but it deleted itself because they charge money for it now and therefore won’t let me right a review for it. This robot used to be fun, then a company is gonna charge you money for the app, tricks, and basically everything has a price tag on it. Anker shouldn’t have sold out, it completely ruined something that was great. Setting aside the fact this thing was already $400.
