Veezu Taxi UK | Request a Ride

Will not send the code to my US cell, so now I cannot use Panther taxis. Guess they want to force us to use Uber?

This app crashes every time I launch it. Restarting my phone does not help. Deleting the app and reinstalling it does not fix it.

Can’t get it to register a non UK phone number. This is a downgrade from previous Panther app.

I had all marketing options turned off. Yet the app is constantly sending me notifications daily about things to do in the app. I found it so annoying that I turned off notifications completely. Not really something you want to do with a taxi booking app. I preferred my taxi company's personal booking app, but it must have been more cost effective to discontinue it for Veezu.

Used twice. First time gave up waiting as it repeatedly changed/rebooked and walked home. Tried again, this time booked a week in advance. For 4:45am. At 4:46 it said “eta 11mins”🙈. Too late. Had to use own car/park/run to train. Terrible. Deleted app

Upfront fee was £19 but on the day was £31. There was no traffic or wait time so assumed to just be price gouging

I was coming home from Heathrow and was able to book my taxi in advance through the Veezu app when we got to Bristol and I had a better idea of timescales. The app was clear, very user friendly and straightforward. Taxi arrived on time and was clean and comfortable. I was also able to pay by card. Excellent service all round.

We pre-booked our cab on New Year’s eve in Bristol as we knew it was going to be chocker and hoped that we would be able to just hop in at our given time with no fuss as we had left hours of notice (almost 12). When it got to our pick up time we went outside the venue and the app now said “searching for a driver”. This confused us as this is what you would see if you had just booked a cab and it seems as though pre-booking just automatically puts your order through at the time you select. We waited for around 15 minutes and finally connected to a driver who was right next to us and we were relived as it should be with us very soon. We were happy to push aside the fact that our ride was late until our driver went past us and started doing laps of Bristol! We phoned up the company and let them know our situation but the man on the phone brushed it off and didn’t console with us at all and said our driver will be there shortly before ending the phone with nothing else. The arrival time kept switching from 5 minutes to 8 minutes to 6 minutes to 10 minutes and we were getting really fed up at this point as it was pushing 40 minutes since our booking time. We decided to phone up our driver and ask where he was as this was appalling and he insisted he was 10 minutes away, however not sounding very urgent or concerned for us. We checked the app again and the time had now gone up to 17 minutes and our driver hadn’t moved at all. Then to top it off he decided to cancel it so we had “searching for a driver” again. Not impressed at all with the service of Veezu taxis, and I appreciate it was a busy night but they should prioritise the clients that have pre-booked and if running late keep us updated at least and show more urgency. Will not be using this service again.

We pre-booked a taxi hours in advance only for no one to turn up. The app doesn’t tell what’s going on, no eta, no way to contact Veezu. Terrible service would not recommend. Avoid if you don’t want to walk to your destination.
