Let me say, there is lot that is good about this app and there is also space for growth. Things I like: • I’m glad there are pictures for every recipe • I like that the recipe cards are easy to read and have the ingredients separated clearly • the books are easy to put together • I like that I can add preferences to what I’m looking for like “recipes for one or two people” or “kid-friendly” or “Asian or Latino flavors” • I like that the landing page/Home Screen is easy to navigate Room for growth: • The pictures of the food on the recipe cards do not look very professional, the lighting isn’t great. The food in those pictures looks unappetizing even though it looks like the recipe would be delicious. • It would be great if I could choose more settings like “vegetarian” or “vegan” • the color scheme is rough and unappealing. It would be much more appealing if earth tones were used. For example, the color of the tabs in the recipes is a very sickly-green color that is not very appetizing. • It would be nice if I could click a button and say “what recipes have I saved that include both cauliflower and broccoli?” That way if I have both of those ingredients I can use them in the same dish. • I don’t really understand why the book cover photos are pictures of religious figures. I know I can choose other pictures from albums on my phone but I still find it strange that this is the default. •I assume the developers are working on adding other food group items I know that is a lot to process but I do think this app has a lot of potential!! I am excited to see how it develops. And I can absolutely see me suggesting it to friends who are looking for healthy food recipes that are easy to access. As a wellness coach, I would like to start suggesting it to my customers as a resource once the app is a little more developed.
