Could use an upgrade in capability
Not asking for a lot, could you make your app controllable using Siri? I would love to be able to automate it from the iOS Shortcuts app, but that would be a bonus. Siri first, please and thanks.

Please sort this app out I can no longer control my lights because the app keeps crashing the whole time.
Spent an hour setting up the 20 bulbs on the app (naming, grouping, moods etc.)...only to find they’ve ALL reset back to their default names (digits that look like an IP address)! No way in hell I’m setting them all back up for now. Now I have to switch every single bulb on one at a time, until I find the bulb I need. Maybe in time, I’ll memorise the default names for each bulb...but quite frankly, I think that defeats the purpose! Disappointed. 1 star.
Nice looking lights but crashes all the time. Keep having to delete the app and reinstall. Annoying
Does the smart bulbs conect to amazon Alexa
lots of the time I try scanning to get my lightbulb to change colour. It doesn’t normally work. It sometimes dose and is nice when it dose but even if I put the iPad right next to the bulb. Also the colours don’t work alot I try to get yellowy green but i get blue or red. Or the colours just go dark when I try to get certain colour.
For goodness sake Veho. You have a great product for the price. You also have a brand to build not to erode which is exactly what you are doing with Kasa. How long did it take you to repair the iOS 11.3 bug. I waited a few weeks having lost full function then I deleted your ‘VEHO’ app I’d bought 4 gu10’s and 3 e27’s that were now useless and at that point was certain I’d never buy into anything Veho again. Please forward this comment to your brand manager. You must monitor these reviews like any responsible brand and also Half of the above 5* comments could only be in-house PR damage control 😂 Had anyone asked me about smart lighting in the months following the 11.3 bug I’d have started by saying avoid ‘VEHO’ at all cost. Your brand became a joke and a sad example of what this fast paced world is becoming. How many bulbs went to landfill thanks to this bug. A few months later I came across 5 used bulbs being sold by a disgruntled bloke cursing Veho’s name. Figured they’d be worth £1 each as simple white bulbs. So I reinstalled the app just in case. lo and behold there was life in Veho after all. Now I’m planted in your very narrow island of a system but with enough critical mass to keep buying more (2x e14’s a couple of weeks ago) I really don’t need another 11.3 episode guys. Nor does your brand. All the actual reviews above rate 3 stars at most. The problem isn’t just the wonky broken app but a total lack of access to technical info or an api allowing the open source community to do your work for you. I am certain you could great bullet proof apps built for you. Apps that connect to everything from Apple Google Amazon and whatnot. You need to open your protocol to keep Kasa breathing because with iOS 13 just released this could happen easily enough. Do you guys really want to grey your hair and ours every time apple issues a major update. I am not upgrading for fear of losing control of my ‘HOME’ lighting. Veho Managers,,, my lighting.. you are messing with light. That’s like messing with your customers Utilities. Imagine if your product cut off hot water, your electricity,, lighting is not so different. Get this wrong and you really piss off your customers and guess what they do then. What do you think the missus is going to say late evening two glasses in when all the ‘VEHO’ lighting is set to deep calming orange reds. She updates her iPhone and suddenly ‘HER’ home is lit like a dentist surgery with VEHO’s default midday blue white.
If you only want to control one bulb, then it works about as well as any of the cheap remote controlled bulbs you can buy for a fraction of the cost. If you want to control multiple bulbs, then don’t bother. Yes, you can program groups and names for your bulbs so you know which bulbs you’re controlling. Except the app forgets those names, and reverts the bulb name to its serial number. Alright, that’s fine, I’ll just write a list so I know at least the order of the bulbs, so first bulb is living room, second is dining room, and so on... Nope, the order of the bulbs changes too. So if you want to turn the living room light on, you have to go through your list of connected bulbs, turning them on and off until you stumble across the bulb you want...
It would be a good app if it was reliable but sadly it’s not. When you open it you take the chance of the app crashing on loading. If not this it has trouble connecting to the lights even in the same room. If the bulbs aren’t free I wouldn’t buy them because the app lets it down. The amount of times it got to 50% and stopped or just crashed. When it works it works well or would be 1 star.
The Veho Kasa bulbs are great, but the app controlling the bulbs is horrendous. I can not control more than 4 bulbs, and I own 5. I’d happily buy more, but regardless of the firmware being updated, the app stopped recognising my previous 4 bulbs and now just shows the 5th one. I’ve troubleshooted this to death, and will no doubt spent more of my life getting this sorted. If only there was an alternative app I could use!
