Veil Reviews

Bad faith update!!

mypaperstuff on

The update REMOVED previous options. Not only not cool, but a bad business model! It would have been smarter to let us early adopters keep features and leave good reviews. Instead, dev punked us, and now he gets bad reviews, bad vibes and early users who will never pay an “upgrade” after options were yanked.

I see what you did there

You're just going to pretend that I did not receive all of the filters during your promotion? I cannot access them anymore. Just the static. Just one filter. I see what you did there.

There is a charge for updating, which is really ugly.

Unfortunate update.

The app is pretty good, but the latest update took basic functionality and put it behind a paywall. I downloaded the app a month ago, and I had access to about a dozen filters, if memory serves. With the latest update, I have access to *one* filter, unless I pay to unlock others. I have nothing against putting functionality behind a paywall, but locking *previously available* functionality away without even mentioning it in the release notes? That’s low.

Another app stealing money

Got this app when it was $2. Now I have to pay $13 even though I already bought the app? No thank you

I paid for Veil before 2.0 version being released. I didn’t get everything on 2.0 version!

Promising

Would be great if it had the option to just blur the face. Instructions are a bit lacking, does not seem to save the blurred pictures no matter the settings

Works How?

Nice idea but interface is lacking in instructions. Very disappointed! Johnny

Well done

Very well done. Is it possible to have it blur only faces?

Really neat!

I have not seen another app do this trick. I especially like how well the sepia filter works. Good job!
