First of all. The app does not work consistently. There is always some issue as to why the app can’t be used. If I have to it, which very often I don’t, then get it professionally done.
Second, this is the biggest scam in the world. For a hospital system like the Cleveland Clinic to make companies pay to use this then have the reps go through hours of training for what? It’s not like we get to actually have a clinical discussion with your providers on a consistent basis. So why are we required to do this? We have our own training in each company that covers most of the content.
Flawed App and Credentialing Service
The app will show that you are cleared for an account but when you show up there may be a pending document that you need before you can get a badge. You upload that document but there’s a 48-hour processing wait. So the task or case you went to cover at account now can not be done. There are two other credentialing sites that I use that are more user friendly for both the hospital and customer: Intellicentrics/RepTrax and eDHP. Hospitals please consider these other credentialing sites when making a decision, GHX is not user friendly for reps who are just trying to provide the customer service you expect of us.

Logging in on this app is the worse of all vendor credentialing apps out there! GHX constantly gets stuck logging in. You have to close the app and re-open it which then deletes your password causing you to have to re-type it in. They tried offering Facial-verification but I still haven’t seen it work.. 9/10 times when the app “quickly logs you in” via facial ID, it causes the app to spasm and the loading wheel screen never progresses thus leaving you to close the app and re type your information when it does decide to load.
Don’t get me started on trying to use this app on hospital WiFi or Guest WiFi hotspots or when any communication is trying to come in to your phone while logging in.
Please fix
It’s unfortunate that as much money as people spend for this service, so that we can do our jobs, this is the best we can get? Won’t load so that I can check in at my facilities, and even after I check out on the app, it still sends me a message asking if I want to renew my pin. I’ve checked out already!!! Do better, Vendormate!
No one would voluntarily use this app
They have a captive audience that is forced to pay hundreds of dollars yearly for a miserable experience.
Worthless service
No support when you call to expedite updated credentials. We all pay way too much money annually for zero service, considering every person using this app is required to in order to access healthcare facilities. Hire more people to process documents or get acquired by another company that can.
Unacceptable service for forced payment
As a medical rep we are required to pay for this service against our will so they have no incentive to improve or at least make it acceptable. I'm writing this review as I wait for the app to load so that I can upload credentialing documents. 5 min so far and still waiting. BTW... I'm on fiber optic WiFi so there's no excuse for the wait
I only use GHX because a hospital requires it
My job requires me to be credentialed for multiple hospitals and each one has their own credentialing system. I have 5 credentialing companies I use and GHX is by far the worst I have ever interacted with. From slow or no loading of anything, to requiring me to upload special documents that they've deemed acceptable yet the other 4 cred services have no problem accepting the documents I supplied. Plus if they reject a doc they don't give a reason, you have to guess what it is they didn't approve. Good luck with that, it easily takes 3 hours to get any help and that's if they even respond to you. This is the worst middleman company and they really offer nothing to help but they are very quick to charge the $500 for an account.
Judging by the other comments, I'm not the only one experience this. They either need to step up and start caring or just shut down. No doubt they only get business because they have friends high up in administration. I will be so happy when my work stops using them. You should be very weary and ready to be frustrated about everything with GHX.
Truly an awful app and company
The app never works. There is no support. No one at the hospitals one how to use the GHX/Vendormate system. Paying annual credentialing fees literally feels like I’m being shaken down. I hate hate hate this app
