If I knock on your head it would produce an echo. No common sense when choose which posts to remove, but will happily let bigots run their mouths. Edit 7/2/24 stop asking me to rate the app every 5 minutes it’s disruptive and annoying.

i just have to remember to post, lol im fixing that now update *** welp that didn’t take long for yall to run me off the app lol ( 4 days later) i delete everything and uninstall. you say no nsfw posts but im constantly seeing them , y’all just selective ( this was the deal breaker the selective either you allow it or not, its not fair some people can have there posts up and i got deleted) idk if it was too much, but it wasn’t that bad, ok so it is just best i dont use the app at all, made me uncomfortable yall did that, mayb i will try again another time

i like this app a lot, it really helps! only problem i have is them taking posts down that are properly trigger warned and tagged.

i used this app for the first time back in Apr. 2015. here i am, returning to it, yet again. it’s casual, convenient and helpful. Also comes with informative modules. It has social media functions as well, and it works as an online or private (settings) diary, too.

The moderation team has gotten worse and worse. I understand not allowing posts that encourage suicide or give methods, but I can’t even mention that I have suicidal thoughts. For an app called vent, you’re not allowed to vent. Don’t mention that you have issues with mental health. Don’t mention you have issues with addiction (I don’t but I know others who have had posts deleted for mentioning it). And then the owner will get mad when the vast majority of users blast him for the terrible decisions he makes. He hides behind vague UK laws to somehow justify removing the ability to actually vent from vent when, upon reading the laws he cites, there’s absolutely no reason he needs to moderate this strictly. Mentioning I have suicidal ideation IS NOT promoting suicide. Anyway I never leave reviews but this app…it’s not good

Vent is very helpful

After a day filled to the absolute brim with transphobia, naturally I logged onto vent to vent about it. I said that after today I’m starting to really hate cis folks. Because I was fed up with being mistreated by them, as my post history indicated happened a lot that day. My post was deleted for hate speech, which was the transphobic cherry on top of the transphobic sundae. This is the first time that has happened to me, but post are deleted a lot for other stupid reasons, like daring to mention suicidality (not in a context that’s glorifying planning or inciting, that’s justified). Vent is useable and pretty decent for what it is but I can’t give it any more than one star until the moderator team fixes itself. Please.
