This is a wonderful app. There's a few features I'd like to see before giving it 5 stars:
- the ability to hear the pronunciation of the verb on the flashcard without having to navigate to the list of verb conjugations (even some way to have it automatically pronounce upon revealing the answer).
- the ability to hide either the infinitive italian verb or its english translation to help practice learning those by heart.
- the ability to select a large group of verbs to practice without having to enable all verbs or disable all verbs (the app Conjugato has a great solution for that).
Otherwise, I'm very pleased with this app.
Good app with one major failing
Unless I am missing something, which is entirely possible, this app does not grade your progress like Anki or other spaced repetition systems. As a result, the app has no way to keep track of your progress other than rote repetition, over and over, until you decide to "exclude" a verb. This is unfortunate.
Other than that, it's among the best for simplicity and affordability.
If you'd rather be more efficient, look into Anki decks instead.
I cannot recommend this app enough
I had this on my phone for the longest time without using it, but since moving to Italy and studying italian and all its tenses more regularly, I make a point to practice with this everyday. The paid version is so so worth it too. It’s hard to find reliable sources for Italian (google translate and even deepl just don’t use the proper tenses quite often), and this app has been the saving grace for all things italian verbs. Absolutely download it. It will grow your vocabulary, and it’ll be a straight forward app experience.
Perfect verb drills app
Exactly what it needs to be. Simple and effective. Just what I was looking for. And I love that you can enable tenses one at a a time.
Very helpful for practice
The app is very simple, but works great. It really helped with my conjugation skills.
Great for practicing verb tenses
Very easy to configure for what you need. I like the "Guess" option which allows me to just say the verbs out loud and see if I get them right. Thank you whoever made this, as there are several other conjugation apps out there for Italaian that aren;t very good.
Amazing!
It’s pretty incredible that someone built this and is only charging a reasonable flat fee for the pro version. I’m not a bot (that’s what a bot would say lol), just a happy Italian learner who’d be doomed without this app.
I highly recommend slowly turning on new tenses as you go versus all at once; I love that it lets me do this!
Very Helpful App
I find that I use this app a lot to practice verb conjugations. The layout is clean and straightforward. It is so much more useful than the other conjugation practice apps I’ve tried. It would be even better with a simple change of giving you the option to hear the pronunciation once the correct conjugation is shown, without having to go to another screen to do that. I would also love to see the English translation of the conjugated solution, but I would imagine that is a more significant change. All in all, a very good app.
Great reinforcement
This is a good supplement to learning Italian. 10 minutes a day keeps previous learning fresh with this App. And, you can do it anywhere (sitting by a swim pool in Hawaii right now!!)
Very good app
Great app. I was using quizlet to make my own flash cards, but with 6 versions of each verb, that was a lot to do. Plus this helps me learn new verbs as well.
Would be great to be able to star specific verbs that require more practice, but otherwise, this is a great app!!!
