Description

Vernier Thermal Analysis Plus for FLIR ONE offers all the great features of Vernier Thermal Analysis, and adds time-lapse thermal photography!
Mark up to four locations or regions on a thermal image. In a selected region, you can determine minimum, maximum or average temperature. Graph temperature data live during an experiment, then export to our Graphical Analysis app for further analysis. Thermal image videos can also be exported to the Photos app. Videos can be captured in real-time or time-lapse.
Non-contact temperature data collection with video can be used to observe temperature changes on the skin, illustrate convection, show heating due to friction, and more. Compare heat conduction in different materials or compare the transparency of materials in infrared vs. visible light. What will you explore?
With the new time-lapse recording feature, record temperature changes over longer timespans and play it back at 2x, 4x or as fast as 2000x!
- Requires FLIR ONE accessory for iPhone.
- Compatible with FLIR ONE PRO, FLIR ONE (2nd generation), and FLIR ONE (3rd generation).

Vernier Thermal Analysis Plus Reviews

Stunned

Vernier AND FLIR should be embarrassed with how poorly this app works. The features (particularly data logging) are awesome, but the app simply fails to run stable. If it doesn’t crash when you’re recording data, it surely will when you go back to replay it... if you can get your experiments to load at all without crashing. I thought I could use this in a professional product development setting, but besides being a showcase for what COULD be, this app is functionally useless.

Stunningly Buggy

Johnny Dont on

United States

Crashes constantly, especially on iPad. On my iPhone I can sometimes get a useful experiment, but crashes consistently on iPad. Graphs on video export don’t match data. Please, pretty please, Developers, please fix this app. It is hands down the best - if it didn’t crash. I will buy you a beer if you fix this. Two! Don’t have come this far only not to finish!

Does it’s job with drawbacks

Razvici on

It’s works good and measures as expected. Major drawbacks though: DOES NOT support orientation. Cannot be used with screen tilted to 90deg or even flipped to 180deg. Makes it very awkward to work with on an iPhone and the lack of rotation support makes it limited from that aspect. Snapshots (pictures) are exported without temperature information.

Features are good, but consistency is lacking

Whittty on

United States

Crashes (a LOT), buggy export of data and video, no emissivity or gain setting. Very powerful, but ultimately not quite reliable enough to be useful.

Doesn’t recognize FLIR One Camera

This app worked well before I updated to iOS 11.2.1. It was a very useful app when it worked. Please update.
