I paid a premium to for two large 200AH batteries for my electric pontoon boat with Bluetooth app capabilities as I want to know my state of charge. With the latest update I can connect but get zero telemetry from the battery. It’s basically a dumb battery now and I feel like I was cheated. That’s what you get for trusting unknown brands.
Bought Li batteries just 1 yr ago - app now manually connects with bluetooth but all data is zeros. Worst programmers ever. Batteries seem to actually work okay, but omissions seem likely on purpose to avoid confusion and warranty claims…
Bought batteries June of 23 and downloaded this App. It worked but poorly like everyone says. Then the app auto updated in early April of 24 and now is completely non functional. Unable to see any data from my batteries even though I was able to get it to connect to each one. I bought the batteries because they had built in communication, but now I have none. Hopefully they will fix this app. But currently stay away from VESTWOODS batteries if your planning on this app for any type of monitoring.
App never worked then it updated and worked even less and now it updated again and I went from at least seeing the capacity and voltage to seeing absolutely no information at all, I bought this battery for its Bluetooth feature and that feature is not even available, i would never buy or recommend this battery to anyone
Latest update now shows the app name in Chinese. I have like 10 of their batteries and bought them in large part because of the app showing cell voltages and cycles. Now that stuff is gone making the app pretty useless.
The app that was updated on my other phone NO LONGER WORKS!!! It’s in Chinese and now asks you to login AND location info?!? SHADY. Updating my Amazon review to reflect. Just terrible way to run a business.

To see individual cell voltage you need to place finger on Memory Usage line until a password box opens and type in the letters - admin
The app started out rough around the edges, but did provide the necessary information. Now the app is completely useless. My battery always reads 100%. Individual cell data is gone. EFC count is gone. Everything useful about the app is gone or not functioning. Even when I know I am discharging from the battery, the status says “idle” Why update an app to make it worse? Please fix.
