This app used to be very useful but it hasn’t been updated in 6 months and exporting video is quite broken currently

I’ve been color grading video on here for a few months, and today when I tried to export a video there was a free trial screen and an unremovable watermark. At least give a warning.

I imported v-log clips from Lumix s5iix and was able to successfully apply the Panasonic v-log to rec 709 LUT. However, when I tried to export the result, the only option that kinda works is the "Save Max Quality", which generated a clip that can be saved to the File app but once done, can not be saved to the Photos app (says "error saving video"). As for the other export option (i.e "Encode & Save"), I've tried both the MP4 and MOV options, neither actually generates a video. As soon as I press the "Save Video" button at the bottom, the typical iOS menu pops up to allow me to select where to save the result but no video actually get exported. The video preview in the app with LUT applied, also turned to a blank canvas. I hoped this can be fixed soon as I could really use it in my workflow. Also, can't even send emails to the developer because "Open" -> "Settings" -> "Contact" merely says "failed to send email".

Can't export my videos making this app useless. Hopefully there's a quick fix soon

I bought this app a couple of years ago, and since then I have been telling everybody this is the app to use for color corrections on video. I went to open it up today, and there’s this huge watermark that prevents me from even seeing anything. I haven’t updated the app in a while, so I figured if maybe I updated it, that would change, but no. I don’t even need the updates… I just want what I paid for. Until then, this app is worse than worthless. I feel like somebody just reached into my pocket and stole from me.

This app is amazing for film grading as well as different looks for photos. I’ve been using it for a while now. You can even match looks from another video or photo or create your own Luts. I’ve used the trail version offline for so long I never even knew it was a trail. But it’s well for it for the price. I tell all of my photographer & filmmaker buddies about this app as well.

I’ll be honest, the app itself works well for what I needed it to. Adding a LUT over a video. But I was disappointed when I got hit with a paywall because I feel like the app isn’t polished enough to restrict use to a paid tier. It’s a good app at the bones, but riddled with poor UI and a couple bugs. Moving on to find another.

I had to for this one. This is BY FAR the most comprehensive and deeply integrated editing solution I have ever tried. And I’ve tried so many. I’m still learning the platform but literally the only suggestion I could have is to build in functionality for combining multiple clips into one for export. But honestly, this app could already do that, I just have so much to dive into still. 😂 thank you!!
