Fix your broken app. Can’t even place an order, change address or anything without it crashing
By far the best selection of restaurants. I’ve used the app dozens of times and have had a good experience overall. However, as previous reviews state from 8 years ago, there is still no way to contact Viking if anything is wrong with your order. I’ve unfortunately had this happen a few times. I’ve also had issues using Viking gift cards on the app due to the way the payments are set up in the app. Splitting costs between more than one card seems impossible or at least difficult to do. I will continue to use the app because they simply have the best options and in general, minimal issues.
Been three months now that my zip code has been banned.
This app has the best restaurant selection. There are many more local restaurants on here than on the National apps and it hits all the basics that you need from a food delivery app. Food usually arrives much faster than the estimate which is always a nice surprise.
I have been using Viking Food for a while now and have found that everything goes smoothly as long as there are no issues. I recently ordered and the restaurant gave me something different than what I ordered. I looked on the app and there’s no way to contact them, the only way to correct my order would be to call the restaurant directly. I love that there is a way to get food from local restaurants delivered to me, but to be on par with other food apps they need a way to correct issues when they inevitably happen.
i love viking food. we eat from it once or twice (or sometimes three or four times) a week and have done so for a couple years now and i have never had a problem with the delivery. great selection of restaurants and consistently good service. drivers are always friendly and bring the food right to your door, unlike uber eats which makes you walk out to their car, lol. highly recommend this service. the app could use an update, it's not super user friendly, like it's kind of confusing why their disclaimers about dine in prices and delivery fees are included as menu items for every restaurant? seems like it clutters up the screen quite a bit and makes it harder to search the menu. just a suggestion. overall it's a perfectly functional app, though.
App loads and loads but never actually loads anything.
It took over an hour for our food to get here and there is no canceling an order even if you wanted to just seconds after it’s placed. If it’s going to take so long they should at least warn you before you place the order. Could have went and gotten the food in like 20 minutes but now I’m stuck paying extra fees to wait almost 5 time as long.
Easy-to-use app, and service is above-and-beyond.
The options are great, but there’s no way to contact them if something goes wrong. Just had a driver forget to give me my drink and I have no way to get it now since the driver is gone. Incredibly frustrating
