The VIN app gives you instant details on any vehicle by entering its registration number. The vehicle history information is obtained directly from ClearVin that is an authorized data provider of National Motor Vehicle Title Information System (NMVTIS) and includes:

Find out all the details related to the vehicle you want to buy. This includes everything from the vehicle’s model to the engine specs and country of origin.
Vehicle value information
See all information related to the value of a vehicle. This includes information like retail, MSRP, and loan values.
Auction price analysis
Know the average price for which similar vehicles have auctioned in the past few months.
Ownership history
Get a complete list with the number of times a car was sold, how it was sold, and in which state.
Auction sales information
Know the exact number of times the vehicle you’re about to buy was put up for auction and when.
Repair history
Check whether a used vehicle has sustained damage or is potentially unsafe to drive. This includes everything from flood and fire damage to theft and vandalism.
Recalls
Find out whether the vehicle you want to buy was a part of a manufacturer recall or not.
Odometer events
Ensure that the car’s autometer wasn’t tampered with at any point by checking the registered mileage for the car on different dates.

I made a purchase of this service because I needed it and it gave me an error message and that you had expired my monthly quote when I hadn't even run the first vin number, please give me my money back
Didnt work at all
No results just “unknown error message”. Then ripped me off by using my paid three uses with no more. Hoping a refund is coming!?
Trash
I downloaded the app- paid $25 to view 3 reports. I tried 3 times and received an error each time. After verifying again that the VIN was correct, I attempted to view the report and was told I was out of reports to pull. COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY.
SCAM SCAM SCAM
Do not use. It just says it got an error but counts that. Payed for 5 vin reports. Got zero. Again, I got zero reports.
Didn’t work
I PAID for a subscription. I put in the VIN and received an error. Tried retyping, it didn’t work. I tried again and it still didn’t work. Tried another VIN. It said I used all of mine. Waste of money
First VIN # Should be Free!
For marketing purposes, it would be better if the first check (my car) will be free. It will build a little trust before you subscribe for $50 a month and get only 5 Checks!!
Total scam
When you put your vin on the app it shows blurred reports as if it actually found something but after you pay it gives an error message and then obviously one would think its an internet issue so you keep trying until the app says you ran out of reports for the month but never gave anything, If I can’t check my vin I want my money back, this is app so far in my experience has been a fraud
Super expensive
Who wanna pay $50 a month for 5 car reports?
Bogus
This app is total bogus I input my vin and it gave me a error message I tried again and double checked for any mistakes and it gave me a error message and no info on my car basically told me my vin was incorrect as if my car didn’t exist. Then I put my girlfriends vin in and it told me the same thing and after that told me I used my total amount of checks for the month but never gave me ANY info on either my girlfriends car or mine
