Shoot retro-style videos with one tap.
Just press the record button to turn everyday scenes into hundred years old movies!

[[ Friendly reminder ]]
This app simulates an analog film-reel camera.
There are some restrictions that don't exist in other video apps.

- The maximum length of the video is 20 seconds for the default black and white film, and 6 seconds for other films. You can extend all films to 5 minutes if you purchase the PRO version.
- You can only append a new recording after the previous recording. If you want to create a new recording from scratch, export the previous recording first, then delete it.
- You only have one film for each effect

With these limitations, your creativity is challenged. Some people export multiple footages then use iMovie to create a full-fledged movie. Find your ways to fully utilize this powerful and fun tool!

[ Troubleshooting ]
- Selfie is upside down — Turn off "Portrait Orientation Lock"
- Video not saved to Camera roll — Tap the Share button on the bottom-left, select video size, then select "Save Video". You might need to scroll down to see the option.

Limitations for now:
- Original color video recording will not be saved
- You cannot edit after recording. Please export the video and use other tools

I would like to have the ability to zoom when filming with the app. typical of super 8

Stupid

Cool but spenny

Have had this app a few years, it is good and used it a lot when I first got it… I paid to upgrade to pro back in the day thinking it was a one off payment but have just realised I’ve been charged almost £2 a month ever since I bought it which is crazy. Cancelling as so many other ‘free’ similar apps exist these days.

Don’t waste your money

Even by paying the recording time is still limited for some reason? Furthermore the quality is actual garbage. Incredibly blurry and looks terrible

Does one thing REALLY well - and thank you so much for just charging a one off lifetime purchase fee instead of subscription. Really makes me happy

ho comprato questa app con gli effetti inclusi, adesso dopo l'update mi chiedete di fare una sottoscrizione, che non faro' mai, can you please darmi i soldi indietro ?

Audio issues

The audio always seems to go of sync with the video after a few seconds of recording. Can you please fix this?

Very good reproduction

I’ve used a few of these types of apps before and for various reasons (usually authenticity), they never made the grade.. but Vintage is the exception.. a simplistic but very well thought out app that generates just really good authentic looking video. May even use a few seconds of this in a documentary I’m producing for a national tv network. If I had any suggestions.. adding some modern film looks, e.g. 16mm and a few more film stocks. Excellent work by the developers.

Can you please make the videos be longer with out subscriptions? And can you please fix the crashing because it crashed on me once and I want you to fix it but other than that it’s ok but I want the videos to be longer without subscriptions so please do that.
