Virginia Sports Mobile App

Very disappointed in the coverage of UVa swimming in the Olympic trials. Especially the women have been nothing short of spectacular but the coverage in the app has been pathetic. No mentions in the latest news updates. NBC commentators often cited the achievements of Wahoo swimmers but not the writers of this app and the UVa Sports website. We have several Olympic qualifiers and their not getting any coverage on the latest update banners. SHAMEFUL.

Internet works perfect, some reason this app seems to think I don’t have internet and nothing will load. Can’t even pull up a home page. HORRIBLE app.

During men’s games it will never sync when prompted

Since both VT and UVA are using the same app, with HORRIBLE login practices. Firstly, you must create an account with the app AND with the ticket service of each college. Already weird. Since both schools’ apps are made exactly the same, using the same service for both the app and the ticket service, you’d think the accounts you made for the first school would work for the second. Not so. So now I have a total of four accounts, one to log in to the VT app, one to log in to the UVA app, one to log in to VT’s ticket service, and one to log in to UVA’s ticket service. I hope that makers of this app aren’t going to become the standard for the ACC football or college sports as a whole unless they fix this. Can you imagine how asinine it would be to download another app and make two new accounts for every new college stadium you attend?

Wahoowa? More like WahooNah! I haven’t used this app but my sister goes to Virginia Tech, so Go Hokies! They’re superior! Boo Cavaliers!

Just launched the app for the first time since the big update and it is much better than the old app go hoos

I’ve reinstalled it three times. This is since the last update

Results of sporting events are routinely delayed on this app. A better job of updating the app as results occur is needed to make this app useful. It could also be a valuable source for updates on events affected by weather and other events. It does not even include this capability now.
