Nurture a small pot of succulents that grow in real time.
Viridi is a safe haven, a place you can return to for a moment of peace and quiet whenever, and wherever you need it.
While not fully realistic (they're very forgiving), your succulents will require some maintenance and can die from over- or under-watering. Name your favorite plants, give them special care and attention, and they might even flower for you.
Viridi is free to try and comes with your choice of plant assortment. If you think it has a place in your life, you can buy your favorite plants from the in-game nursery for just a few cents a piece. Remember to visit the nursery occasionally for your weekly free seeding!

Viridi FAQ

Yes, Viridi is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is Viridi legit?
🤔 The Viridi app's quality is mixed. Some users are satisfied, while others report issues. Consider reading individual reviews for more context.
I can’t believe it’s been 10 years!? Yeah, the premise is simple, but that’s the beauty of it because it is well done, doesn’t over explain, doesn’t have ads or glitches, it works. It’s a tranquil retreat where you can tend to your “garden”. Patience, calm slowing down to admire and tend to your pot, you relax…. The music soothes, the plants grow (realistically), the color tones soothe. This time around I get what the gentle pulse of the view is doing, very subtle, but relaxing in its breath like movement. It’s stupid simple, no distractions, no diversions. It’s balm for our over stimulated, dopamine driven souls. I seriously miss some of these abstract-ish, “art” games of that era.
Awesome recommend
I love this game it’s so good nothing I want to change also it is kid friendly and so cute definitely recommend
Omggg
I really wanna play it on my phone but it have it on my iPad. I bought so much for the game and I wish I could have it cross over.
Thank you so much!
I dont know why but ive played this game nonstop for two years and one day I saw I couldnt update it anymore, thank you so much to whoever made it possible for me to water my babies again!❤️❤️❤️
this is the only game I’d call cozy
I’ve been playing this game for years now and I do it subconsciously it’s so relaxing and easy to play. It’s really fun although I do wish there were more pot options or even a background option you don’t even have to spend money for it to be fun or nice
Game keeps reversing
My plants blossom and then twice I logged in and they reversed their growth. Flowers were gone. Took weeks to get them back and I log in after three more days and the flowers are gone again and the plant is a lot smaller each time. Very annoying. Deleted app.
The MOST soothing game. Ever.
I’ve had this app consistently for around 8-9 years now. Please get it. You don’t need to interact much, maybe a few minutes every couple days. The impact, however, can be huge. Depending on how you use the app, it can soothe emotions, clear your mind, help engage focus, (my kids even love it). It’s simple, pretty, and easy to use. 10000% worth the (relatively little) time
this is beautiful ★
this game is beautiful, the graphics, plants, music, and even the visuals are amazing. unlike other "relaxing" games you don't have to complete or achieve something which is very calming. nature is beautiful in many ways, isn't it?
Needs work on interaction
This could really be a relaxing game if more care were taken when crafting the viewing controls. A couple notes on how these could be better:
1. Zooming is too fast. This is a mindfulness and relaxation experience, yet I can’t freely zoom and pan and investigate at my leisure at the pace I want. The “pinch” gesture is just far too sensitive, I have to move my fingers slowly by millimeter to get the slow speed I want, and it’s too difficult.
2. Zooming/panning should take place separately from selection. This means that you should detect a difference between a “tap” and a “slide” gesture, and they should do different things. For instance, while the user is panning around, the selection will change if the user’s finger moves over a plant. This is a very amateur design mistake: don’t make the user do things by accident; everything should be intentional.
3. These issues really make this app feel more like a “beginner student project” than a professional app that I would make purchases in. There are no shortcuts here. Try some other apps that include 3D viewing to see what their interaction paradigms are like, and how they feel different. Pay attention to what feels good and what doesn’t. The time investment in this investigation will pay off in the long run, as users will gravitate to an experience that is crafted well and feels good to use.
Favorite steam game
My friends call me silly for spending so much time on this game. But the one on the computer has me waking up just to check on my little plants. A bit of joy to start my day. Thank you
