Virtual Choir Recorder

I signed up to this app to be able to record my choirs in lockdown. The app itself is great and easy to use. Your choir members sign up to the app and can log in and sing to your rehearsal tracks, recording themselves. BUT... What they don’t tell you is that once they have your choir members’ emails they then can email them with details of a Virtual choir they run online, offering a free taster session and then coaxing them to join their choir with the promise of a concert at Wembley Arena in 2022. Interestingly, as choir leader I did not receive this email from them, which makes me think they know this is underhand. Not happy with having my choir members poached.

I only downloaded this app this week. Really easy to use, and the steps were super easy to follow. Lovely!

As a primary school teacher and leader of our little choir pre-Covid I am so excited to try and use this with my children. Easy to use with no fuss at all. A fantastic idea! Thank you

Brilliant app so easy to use would recommend to anybody who loves singing

I joined with a group of people to send a special recording for someone for Christmas. I didn’t know how it would turn out but the end result was amazing. It’s easy to use & allows you to record your voice as many times as you like. Uploading is extremely simple too. Definitely recommend, there’s nothing not to like.

I have set this up for a choir and a big band. Nice simple list to select from and very clear audio. It was very easy to hear the backing track and play / practice the piece ... then repeat for a recording. App has a very helpful feature to upload recorded tracks to Choir Director - where those tracks are consistently labelled. WOuld give it 10 stars if it processed videos as well as MP3’s.

But for 5 stars, the ability to do the video recording (with audio) in one? But still very useful.

The app is really easy to use and for me it is mostly accessible. There is only one point at which it is difficult to use using voice over.

I find the app easy to use and having the vocal to sing along to is a great aid.

An easy, intuitive app that is brilliant for learning and recording your vocal part of a song. Once the individual recordings are mixed you get a fantastic sounding performance of your virtual online choir
