If you want to pin cities it is already paid, which is IMHO basic functionality.
Like the title says. Requires way too much personal information, which is completely unnecessary when the only point of the app is to track which countries you’ve traveled to. This is honestly predatory — don’t fall for it!
Taiwan was erased from the map. Not even sucked illegally into mainland China and just pretended to be another province. No, here Taiwan is simply wiped from the map. Sad to see mainland politics interfering in an American platform in ways that go against our culture. Shame!!
This App is wonderful. Makes me revisit all the places I visited and enjoyed! It is the little things that make a big difference.
It’s a really poorly done app. And lags a lot. Being forced to accept marketing email is kinda crazy. I don’t recommend this and I better have my email erased from your database!!
It took me a moment to figure it out, but great app
Simple program, functional, fun to see where you’ve been on the map. Makes me hungry to see even more.
I didn’t know what to expect but this app is everything I was looking for and some. I travel a ton, so this is a fun way of keeping track of all the places I have been. I HIGHLY recommend!!
My main takeaways after five minutes with this app: * Logging countries and setting targets feels clunky. This app does not at all feel modern. * The degrees to which you can customize things is nice. I really like how each disputed territory has its own toggle, and the you can choose to treat countries like the UK as either one country or individual ones. Also appreciate the level of control over the colors, though the map only updated colors in patches. I had to update a country in a region to force refresh the color scheme, and even then it wasn’t consistent for each level of zooming in. * Agree with other reviewers that forcing people to opt in to marketing emails is bad form. This should be “opt in” not “opt out later.” I am very unimpressed with the free tier, and can’t imagine the premium tier would be much better. There are thing to like here, but not enough to make a good app.
