Visme: Präsentation und Design

I started to use Visme since 3 days ago, was very pleased of the visual design tools, but as the app crushes unexpectedly on both iPad and MacBook, for at least 10 times. My iPad and Mac are installed with the latest Apple system update. Never had any app crushed, only Visme. So I contacted the service desk, they asked if my iPad / MacBook are too old. Of course not. 2021 version. And they asked if i can use google Chrome to download MacOS file or use Chrome browser for editing. And no analysis nor investigation made about their own software issues. Doesn’t make sense to have App then… Couldn’t believe it.

As an educational institution, we have dealt with several course offering tools with the most recent being Adobe Captivate. Recently, we have decided to migrate off of that platform and thankfully, we discovered VISME. We’ve only been in the platform for a couple of days, but we are already seeing it pay dividends as far as creating content for e-learning in terms of speed and efficiency. The fact that they have this app to where you can modify your courses on the fly from your phone or iPad is a major plus. We couldn’t be happier. -The Velocity Training Team

I’m sure this is beneficial to some, but I was looking for a truly AI driven platform. Instead this seems to be just an Ai chatbot layered over a template generator. It’s slow and cumbersome. I waited waaay too long to generate the documents that didn’t even fall within the guidelines of what I was trying to create. It’s too bad, I was hoping for better.

Super expensive and rather buggy/unintuitive. Avoid.

Don’t get any of the subscription offers

If you are a college student looking to make your PowerPoint points fun, I highly recommend using other platforms. This is expensive, basic, and glitchy. The customer support isn’t great. Overall it was a waste of money and I regret it.

I tired using the free trail and even buying Pro version but it won’t let me. My trial says it has started, but I still can’t down load or access any of the extra features.

Premium features not unlocking even after payment. Support is no where to be found through the app. I emailed support and no response.

Buyer Beware!!!!! I signed up for the 3 day free trial which you have to leave a credit card or debit, Which they charged me twice $59. Now, the company is charging me $59 every month! The app is difficult and definitely not user friendly. I have looked everywhere on the app to cancel and for a phone number to cancel and I can’t find NO CONTACT US INFORMATION!! I have called my bank to do a stop payment and close my account. I had to give this scam app/company a 1-star because I couldn’t give it a Negative-10!

I have used Visme for a couple years, both as a paid user and as a free user. I downgraded to free user a few months ago since I don’t do the level of project creation that I used to. I was creating one single graph today on the web app, (which I had spent about two hours working on) and I tried to add a photo, and it said, “storage limit reached. Upgrade to a higher plan for more storage.” I thought this was super annoying, but whatever. I went and deleted a bunch of old projects and went back to the graph and tried again. Same issue. I deleted all the photos I’d uploaded and have saved, then I quit the app and reopened it and tried again. Same issue. No matter what I did I could not keep working on my project until I spend over $150 on a membership. I see now, Visme says they allow a free tier, but they do not. It’s a lie. If you try to use Visme for free you will eventually get stuck behind a paywall and lose all your hard work, unable to continue work on any of your projects. I have no sympathy for liars and there is nothing more frustrating than when a company steals hours of work from you. Visme, your inevitable defeat by Canva is well deserved.
