Vitafit FAQ

Yes, Vitafit is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is Vitafit legit?
⚠️ The Vitafit app has poor ratings and negative feedback. Users seem unsatisfied with its performance or features.
since a recent update the app doesn’t record metrics other than weight. i bought the smart scales with the other functions for a reason, but i have to try multiple times to get the readings, get a message telling me to stand on the scales while standing on them and then the tracking is useless because it’s distorted by all the nil readings. really fed up of this.
Good help
I’ve been using this over the course of the year and do find it very helpful. My only issue is, that when I try to go in certain areas of the app it just shuts itself down and it happens nearly everytime I try to go on and look and have no idea why. Very frustrating.
Great bit of kit + good app
App is all good. Easy enough to use. Maybe they’ve fixed the bugs some of the other reviewers were bemoaning. If the app doesn’t sync with the scales when you step on just swipe the app shut, reopen and you should see the Bluetooth icon pop up on the scales. Then your all set. Most of the readings v close to my nutrition coach except metabolic age. Just bought another set for my mum. Bargain!
Useful scale for analysing composition but some anomalies
I am finding the scales useful for distinguishing between fat weight and muscle and insight into my visceral fat. My big gripe is that despite scoring well within the standard range for every parameter and better than standard for bone mass, I’ve been assigned a metabolic age higher than my actual age. In comparison my partner who is scoring in the orange zone for BMI, body fat and in the very high zone for visceral fat has been assigned a metabolic age that is the same as his actual age. I’m a post menopausal female so carrying extra body fat isn’t abnormal but I’m a very healthy 22.3 BMI and 19.9% subcut fat so would expect my metabolic age to be the same as my actual age or better as I’m hitting the leaner side of standard. I’d like to see more information provided on the assumptions made in the scoring algorithm. Is this based on a population that tend to be smaller and leaner genetically than say European/North American genetic types?
I sent an enquiry using the in app feedback and never had a reply.
Dreadful
Constantly reports a network error…what network ?
Constantly tells me certain measurements can’t be taken because I’m pregnant (I’m a male)
English is absolutely dreadful in places and makes no sense at all
I wish I had purchased any other set of scales….
daily trend is broken
the daily trend doesnt show the daily weight
Useless
Can’t add anyone so why does it give that option?!!👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼
Rubbish
Scales and app are telling me I am a stone lighter than I am on other scales. Also I want to check my weight once a week not every day. There isn’t an option to set day reminders. Also it comes up network error when you try setting it. Wasted my money. I have medical issues and need accurate scales.
waste of time
Despite meeting all criteria the passwords of any description will not be accepted. Scaled will have to go back. Such a complete waste of time
Not fit for purpose
IOS app calendar dates are not correct no response to email sent
