Description

Paediatric Vital Values is a simple and quick reference to the normal physiological ranges in children of various ages for heart rate, respiratory rate, blood pressure and GCS. Now includes Apple Watch support with complications enabling you to have Vital Values at the flick of a wrist or as a shortcut to quickly access the full data.

In portrait mode, the app displays the physiological reference range for a particular age group. Quickly cycle through different age ranges with a swipe of the finger, or go straight to the age range required with a simple tap. Rotate the device to a landscape orientation and all physiological ranges are displayed in a single easy to read table. On iPads, all values are displayed in a single table.

Paediatric GCS (Glasgow Coma Scale) flash cards are also displayed on the GCS tab for quick reference. Swipe left and right to switch between Pre-Verbal and Verbal children.

Other features include a handy timer to aid in bedside measurement and support for auto resume so the information is available as quickly as pulling a card out of your pocket.

Not good for iPad mini

Simple ap which works well on iPad. But it is stuck on GSC on my iPad mini. This is the one I use for work so I have deleted the ap

Simple. Infinitely useful.

Really cool little app that does what it does well. Simply displays paediatric vital ranges for different ages as separate screens or all on one. I really like the timer that is useful when I'm doing observations. The update integrates with Apple watch which is handy (no pun intended) and prevents me from having to pull out my phone in a consultation.

Simple but very useful

Does what it says on the tin. Very handy and useful when u need to catch that RR before the irritable child notices you are staring at him and starts crying again. Just one thing that could make it even better is if you had the option of restarting the timer if you missed your counting. GP Registrar. Addendum: the dev also listens to positive criticism and makes amendments as the timer can now be reset as many times as u want. Sweet!😃

Good app

I like this, looking forward to more like it. Should show values for completeness (ie. mmHg for blood pressure etc.)
