I bought this back in 2013. I always re download it when I’m googling stuff about food or starting a new diet. It good for knowing what nutrients what foods have in dosages. Good for when starting new types of diets so you can know what foods your allowed to eat to replenish what nutrients your low on or need . I also love reading about the health benefits of nutrients n I come on here see what foods have it. I just downloaded it again today 8-29-2020 I’m doing keto and I needed to know what haves electrolytes and b vitamins . Helped a lot! Also how much protein I’m consuming by the oz or cup. Hopefully they never turn this app offline .

Good quick reference

I know little about nutrition and supplements. There are always differing and changing opinions about what's good or bad for our health. Even the science behind healthy dieting flip-flops. This app is a good simple standard to get me started. I can choose my combinations and consult with professionals. Wish they would update to expand the lists.

Pretty useless

This app is a waste of money. I was hoping to be able to at least say "I ate xx ounces of yy food" and then get RDA %. It didn't even give RDA! And the graphs are are scaled uniformly, who cares if I got 1mg of copper and 3mg of calcium.... You want to know what you're getting relative to your body's needs. This app is a borderline scam.

This app has been updated and is wonderful!

The updates to this app have taken it from helpful to valuable! Before, the searchable database was incomplete and not scalable. Now there is the ability to search quantity, recommended serving information according to age, gender pregnancy etc. The only constructive criticism I have is regarding fonts and table size. The font isn't easy to read on a mobile device screen. I like the font, but in another type of platform. A clear crisp font, such as Times New Roman is easy to read. The table for the info guide should be larger, or able to fit to full screen when the phone or tablet is in landscape orientation. Currently, the info screen is something I need to bypass because it's too small to read, even if I put a pair of reading glasses over my new prescription glasses. :). Over all a great improvement to the original app!

It's ok for general overview

The information provided by this app is really outdated. Particularly information concerning fats and cholesterol. The app states that certain oils such as canola are good for you. This is incorrect, in addition, the information about vitamin A toxicity and vitamin deficiencies are incorrect. The information in this app is mainstream science from at least 50 years ago. Needs updating.

Stunning with a lot of information except...

The How To Guide is entirely too small for the screen of an iPhone 5s and size can not be increased/zoomed in for ease of reading. On iPhone 5s this guide is useless.

Amazing and Helpful

Wow really easy to use. The food items are organized in different categories, so just select one and then the products. The best thing is beautiful pictures and description of the food. I wanted to try new foods and eat healthy as a New Years resolution. Helps me perfectly!

Terrible app! Save your money! Wish I could get mine back! The most generic food nutritional forum you can find for free online. No identification of brands and or types of food or drink. Example, syrup. Do you think all of the brands and types of this product have the same nutritional statistics? Aunt Jamia vs pure maple syrup. How about beer? It gives nutritional facts on light and regular beer....really that's it? Do you think there might be a few types of beer or do they only all have the same nutritional statistics as the 2 examples shown?
