Not so easy to set up

No notification when door is open or closed.onley when the app is opens will it show that the door is open or closed but not without going in to the app sort of useless tbh

The app is horrible, not that is a big issue as I just use the home app, but when accessories don’t respond I come here and there’s never any useful info, for eg contact sensor offline, is it the battery? Who knows.. the app says power cycle the device, but no explanation provided on how to do such thing. Also firmware updates, I don’t think there’s ever been one since I bought my devices almost 2 years now, the app just says “it was updated to last version” instantly, clearly not checking anything. Will also prompt you to sync time when clock changes? in general most smart home devices are just terrible but haven’t had issues with de actual devices and that’s what matters.

Great app just not so accessible

This app does quite a lot however it does not adhere to the text says you have set on your iPhone nor does it work with voice-over. As I am severely site impaired I would like to be able to make full use of this app.

Go buy a Hue

Totally unreliable they need resetting every 3 months and if you get two you can’t get the colours to balance

Does not work in landscape mode on iPad!

Please can you update your app like the other smart home companies have.

Great app and great support

Since the last update, this app has a massively improved interface so is even better at letting you find all the cool ways to control the attached light strip. Also I had to contact the developer for some help with a problem and the response was really quick (even over Christmas). Even better, they were able to guide me to the exact cause of my problem and how to fix it. Excellent support, couldn’t be happier.

Can't Complain

Sorry to read that other reviewers had problems with this – albeit a while back. My experience, admittedly only with VOCOlinc devices, was faultless. I quite enjoyed exploring the app and seeing what it had to offer. Some of it was slightly less than obvious but I'm game for pushing buttons and seeing what happens! Am quite used to it now and quite impressed, too. Didn't have to create an account or log-in via another platform. It just worked.
