Love this app. I can easily make tons of new symbols in a twinkling as the app automatically select images and record voice. Now I can even print them out wirelessly. This is a great option for those who like to have laminated cards, too. This is a big life saver.
Keep up with the good work :)
Our family has been using Voice4u for a long time. It is simple and easy to use, especially adding a new vocablary, now it is almost automatic; as soon as I type in a word or sentence, the app creates one for you with a photo and voice. I can also print vocabularies on a paper by a single tap thanks to the latest feature. It gives us a good option for digital and physical cards. Thanks and keep up with the good work :)
What!!!!!!!?
Not for camera roll to save in , or other apps on the iPhone .😩👿 I lived by myself, you know!!! And I need to communicate with others ; not to myself👀... Crazy app!
I need this working on iMessages, Imovie Photos ,Facebook ,Twitter, Instagram (etc.) The whole 9 yard ; otherwise this app can stay free 4forever.
... Unless you give yourself to this app an update , then it really means something. And I will fill in the rest of the stars if you do ,thank you for your time.
How to change images then save??
Edit mood allows me to change the images but I can't save them.... I'm really frustrated.... For an expensive app like this
Scary
Good app as far as communication. I am using for my non-verbal son. Would be better if it did nit have the aliens they are creepy.
?
Why this cost 54.99€ in irish store and why you chinese developers ask so much for any crap you make?
Creepy
I agree. Why do they have to look like aliens? Please make the characters look sweet.
Voice4u
You can switch the pics for your own! I love this app!
Would be excellent without alien people
This would be an excellent app to use with my young child but the alien looking people scare her, and honestly they creep me out a little.
A Good App for AAC
Voice4U lets you create multiple categories of words and short phrases for everyday conversation. There are over 150 preloaded icons and words separated into nine categories. The categories are listed in alphabetical order and shows both images and the text. Customizing takes five easy steps. Take a picture, record the word or phrase, type in the text, select a category, and review your work. You can also edit any of the preloaded icons and customize the word, image, audio, or category. There is a wealth of words and phrases and the icons are easily recognizable. The interface is set to a list of words based on categories or you can browse them based on alphabetical order, popular used words, or recently used words.
I installed the app on the iPad2. Although not designed specifically for the iPad, it ports over well and is a very usable app. It's a great addition to other AAC apps that you may have since every user will have their own preferences. This app is used in a multi-user environment for people with disabilities. It's a great app to use for all ages and all types of disabilities.
The app is simple to use and easy to customize. For $29.99, it is a cost-effective option for augmentative and alternative communication. A keyboard option is not available. There is an option to lock the editing function but the lock is not password protected. Voice4U uses recorded speech and lacks a sentence construction window. Overall, the app serves its purpose well and can be used with minimal setup.
