I would like to be able to filter on volcanoes for which I’d like to receive an alert. I’m only interested in the ones affecting the destinations of my airline

Almost perfect. Offline charts would make it perfect for me
The free version is worthless...for active volcanoes.
If you are looking for an app which supplies info about active volcanoes...go to free Flightradar24 and see even the predictions in colors and the volcano report.

Not accurate! Unexpected and expensive in app buy
Volcano Taal in the Philippines is very active and dangerous at this moment, but nothing about that in the app yesterday and still not today! Further information is limited and if you change the settings for more information (as said in FAQ: Q: My app does not show fault lines or earthquakes. Where are they? A: Please make sure these options are turned on using Settings | Map Options screen. Please also keep in mind that the app only shows most common data which might exclude some local information. ), you have done an in-app buy for €9,99!!!
Works very well
Very nice nice app with a lot of features. Especially helpful for those in the flying business! However ... Do buy the Pro-Pack at once as I found out I was paying double or actually triple for a number of features. At first you think you don’t need everything, so you just unlock a certain feature. I ended up buying the Pro-Pack after having paid two other feature packages. The Apple Store lets you cancel those first two however. But ... it is not a very customer friendly way of doing things.
