Ease of tracking volunteer hours as an organization and an individual is long overdue!
I really like the premise behind this app and it’s basic capabilities. Tracking the presidential volunteer service hours is a tremendous bonus. I would like to be able to edit events as an organization instead of deleting and re-creating them. I would love to have QR code capabilities (per organization and/or event) so that people can scan the QR code and be taken to the event and track their hours accordingly.
I haven’t gotten too far into this yet to see how volunteers and the events created work together and then log; however, this looks quite promising. Perhaps the ability to export data into another form either monthly or annually would be beneficial.
Very difficult to set up
I am giving it a 3. Star rating for now. I can’t set up my own organization. So a 3 pending if and when I get the issue resolved.

Solid app for free basic volunteer management
This is the best app I could find after searching for hours to find a free volunteer management software for my nonprofit. Although it doesn’t look very engaging, the app serves its purpose and for free you really can’t beat it. Definitely recommend checking it out!
Not User Friendly
No export to excel option. Also, “My Hours” tab doesn’t list date, just “# days ago”.
Please add ability to total hours - otherwise great!
This app is simple, easy to use, and highly recommended. Thank you to the designer! The one big shortcoming is that you can’t total hours. The data can be exported to a spreadsheet but the export format doesn’t pull all the information and trying to extrapolate totals for a given time period is extremely cumbersome. If functionality could be added within the app to provide total hours for each volunteer, and all volunteers collectively, for a selected time period, this app would be ideal. I would gladly pay a fee to have this functionality.
Poor user interface
If one works the same hours every week, it is necessary to go in and completely repeat all information.
Once you have entered, hours, it is necessary to get out of the app and get back in again to enter more hours. I do not enter my hours on the day that I worked. I usually enter them all at once after a couple months.
I would probably enter them on the day that I worked if I had the ability to set up reminders.
The whole thing feels clunky.

How do I delete hours off of Voluntime 😭😭 I can’t figure it out and it’s very frustrating. I accidentally put too many hours and now I’m not sure how to delete those hours
Great, so many benefits! Just one drawback
This is a perfect app for keeping track of volunteer hours, although it does not allow you to see member total hours for your organization which feels like it should be a key feature. But other than that, the breakdowns, PVSA, and convenience of everything makes it one of the best hour tracking apps!
Could be really great
I wish there was a way to add additional volunteers from a family. I can sign myself up but cannot add my children. I’d really like to use this to manage volunteer hours for my church (for PVSA) but need parents to be able to add and manage multiple family members.
