The live leaderboards for my regular get together of circa 16 players are the best part, all being able to keep track of who’s winning (and losing!). And now that we can’t use paper scorecards this is a no brainer, definitely the best scorecard layout.
Apple watch
After using vpar for many years I decided to go premium to use my apple watch. Not happy, drains my battery evan when not playing golf. Won't complete a round! Only way to start a new round is to remove app from watch and reinstall it! I appear to have wasted £50
Good potential but needs work
Been using for a while and there are aspects which are amazing: - friends feed and looking up their games - ability to set up games with friends for me (so I don’t have to)… and more importantly can easily open the app and view - the live scoring for multi-round games …to name a few.
A few things lacking: - I don’t understand why I can’t see a graph on my handicap over time (or if that’s a premium feature why it’s premium, it’s fairly fundamental) - ability to search through or filter past scorecards so I can see past results on a particular course without loads of scrolling. Other apps allow you to scroll through score cards and see what counts towards handicap and what doesn’t etc. A few annoying parts: - most courses I play on have signal issues… the app tends to crash when signal is lost! - no ability to turn off course photos in the feed or on scorecards logs… the pictures take up half the screen, I know what it looks like I was there! - past scorecards section should be way more condensed, it should be a list of courses and your profile scores, nice and simple, no photos taking up the screen! - far too frequent bugs and crashes, “something has gone wrong” happens all the time. The last major concern for me is that people can submit scores on your behalf without your consent! There should be a scorecard verification/approval step for all players.
I generally find the app a bit clunky and hard to use, often slow to use. Would love to justify premium at some point but at this stage I’m not sure it’s worth it. A trial would be good. It’s better than iGolf app though (IMO)! I encourage the devs to keep working on it :)

Best App
Best App for golf … use a lot ,,recommended to many of my friends
Watch not working
No matter what I do I can't get the apple watch to connect to the app on the phone. Premium subscription is active and attempting to connect to watch via de iced just gives a blank screen and doesn't connect to watch.
Best Golf App By Far
Way more intuitive than any other I’ve tried, and I’ve tried a lot!!
Great App!
Recent additions to GPS are awesome!
Awesome app!
Great app for scoring and GPS. Can get club recommendation and watch integration if you are a Premium subscriber.
Can also get a VPAR handicap with full breakdown. 👍
Fantastic App
Cracking app, I would say best out there! Great for scoring as a individual or as a group. GPS function is brilliant.
