「VR郡山城」は、豊臣秀長在城時期の郡山城をCGで再現し、スマートフォンを使って当時の様子をVR体験できるアプリです。

＜郡山城跡周辺では＞
スマートフォンを持って郡山城跡周辺を歩くと、その動きに合せて郡山城の再現CGが表われます。まわりの風景にスマートフォンを向けると、カメラで当時の城内の様子を映し出しているようなVR体験を楽しむことができます。城跡内を歩くとそれに合せてCGの位置もリアルタイムに移動し、上下左右にスマートフォンの向きを変えると、その方向に見えていた当時の風景が映し出されます。天守台周辺では、当時の天守に昇った位置からの360度パノラマを体験することができます。郡山城跡に足を運んで、郡山城再現CGを体験してみましょう！

郡山城跡にいないときでも、郡山城再現CGを利用したVR体験を楽しむことができます。天守周辺、極楽橋、鉄門の3箇所から好みのスポットを選ぶと、その地点からの風景がCGで再現されます。カメラの向きを変えると、当時のその場所からの風景をCGで楽しむことができます。
