You can start creating right after download; with many ready-to-use preset items, you won’t need to create anything from scratch. You just need to pick items you like and adjust their parameters!

The texture editor supports stylus pens such as Apple pencils and is pressure-sensitive. You can also divide your design into more layers! Draw directly on the 3D model, or on the UV texture to see your creation display in real-time on the 3D preview.

Create new chunks of hair with a single stroke, and later edit them to your liking through the parameters. Hair is customizable in infinite ways, and you can set hair bounce individually for each hair chunk.

You can set your own terms of use for the data of every model, texture, item, etc you create on VRoid Studio, specifying if you give permission for commercial use, credits, etc.

Very good but there are some things to fix
Finally Vroid studio is for iPad too!
I’m also a win desktop user but I would say that ipad version has a lot of potential.
I have an iPad pro 12.5 M1 and the app is a bit heavy, sometimes it freezes.
- There’s “Materials duplication issue” also on the ipad version:(
Materials keep duplicating and make editing texture very slow. I can only delete them manually and It’s very annoying.
- If by accident you put the app in background, you go back to model selection page loosing the progress.
- Please add a feature were you can merge hair types.
- In texture editing I would add selection/drag/copy/paste features to make the process easier.
- The possibility to add more accessories would be a good improvement too (hats/tails/earings/wings).
Great as the pc version, but crashes frequently
I just tried the iPad version and it’s as good as the pc version, if not better now that I can draw with my Apple Pencil.
However, it’s almost impossible to edit clothing’s textures, as as soon as I tap on “edit texture”, the program freezes and crashes.
Now, I’m not sure if it’s the app’s problem or just my iPad that can’t support it well, but if it is the app, please fix it asap.
