Wahoo FAQ
Is Wahoo free?
Yes, Wahoo is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is Wahoo legit?
🤔 The Wahoo app's quality is mixed. Some users are satisfied, while others report issues. Consider reading individual reviews for more context.
Nice update but Bluetooth buggy when connecting to polar heart rate sensor
New look is great, but takes up to 15 mins to start training because the Bluetooth will not connect to my polar h10. I have to connect and reconnect and kill app to try and get it connected
New look and feel not great for useability
As an avid sports enthusiast, I recently ventured into using Wahoo’s new Heart Rate Monitor app. While it’s evident that the app targets serious athletes with its plethora of information and data, it can feel overwhelming at times. The abundance of options, though rich in content, tends to clutter rather than streamline the experience.
The app’s strength lies in its data readability and presentation. However, where it truly needs to shine is in its user interface. A heart rate monitor app should be about quick, bold, and accessible data at a glance – something Wahoo’s current version doesn’t fully deliver on.
Post-exercise, the app provides an opportunity to analyze your performance. This feature is crucial, yet it demands refinement. Users should be able to choose between a superficial overview or a deep dive into their data. Unfortunately, the current version lacks intuitive ways to navigate and analyze this data effectively.
Cellphone battery drain on new app upgrade
The new app upgrade drains my cellphone battery far quicker. I only managed a 70km bicycle ride on a 100% battery. On a 100km ride I always had ample battery life left.
New update is really bad
I have been using this app for years. The new update has broken it spectacularly. I am using it on my KICKR, Road and Mountain bike. I switched most of my sensors to Wahoo and now this.
The heart rate zones are gone on the main screens. The heading fonts are small, especially when you are out on the road in the sun. The grouping of info means you constantly have to swipe left and right when riding to find different data.
The redesigned exercise UI is a big step back for people who look at the metrics when training.
Really disappointed.
I use to love this app
I loved this app, bought a tickr and used the app daily to train with my heart rate zones, after the recent update i cant see live training zones, it’s absolutely terrible! Please go back to the previous interface!
Me again!
Your app keeps pausing and elevation gain is off by a few hundred meters when I ride the exact same route.
Horrible!
You pay an absolute fortune for a Wahoo Kickr. One would expect an app that is at least functional to go along with it. I’ve had my Kickr for two days. It takes ten minutes each time to do a spindown. Each time I’m unable to complete the spindown by clicking ‘done’ - and each time the app has then crashes on me. Disappointed, Wahoo!
HEART RATE
Is it possible to use a garmin hr monitor with
Kickr?
Garmin recognize Kickr but wahoo doesn’t
recognize garmin?
Wahoo Kckr training
Great indoor training tool with accurate power level adjustments for interval workouts
GPS Struggling
Struggling with bogus data! Went for a cycle with Wahoo fitness and Strava recording at the same time. Wahoo gave me a moment of max altitude 1800m above where I was, recorded my distance as 30% further than I went, and gave me a max speed of 110kph where my max was only 40kph. I think a problem with your algorithms!?
