Face it! There will never be a great water sport video game or app unless we make it ourselves.
And the 3D technology now available in iOS devices is the perfect tool for the job. This is a 3D SceneKit app that we are developing into a second life virtual reality experience for entertainment and instructional purposes. Complete with boat wake and board options, tournament action, and career performance statistics.
Hopefully everyone reading this will download wakeSurfing School Season One. And, hopefully someday we will all be talking about how far we have progressed since the first season.
WakeSurfing School Season One is the first and best wake surf, board, or skate app for iOS!
Do well in Heats to make it into Finals. Win Regional Tournaments to earn Medals. Win National and Worlds Tournaments to become a Sponsored Pro rider. The app simulates the realistic lean forward to go fast pass the boat, and lean back to lose speed and let the boat pass you effects you must master to surf behind a boat.
If you haven't experienced SceneKit (new for iOS 8), you will be amazed by the 3D models for the Hero, Surfboard, and Wake, the animations, and the real world physics effects.
Accelerometer or touch Surf models allow you to surf by rotating and tilting your phone or swiping the screen.
Two finger swips even allow you to move the Hero on the Surfboard to pull off amazing stunts.
Two finger pinch and rotate gestures even allow you to shape the wake.
This is a Game Center enabled game. The more you surf and the harder you thrash the more medals and sponsors you earn, and the faster you become a Pro.

It doesn't matter if your favorite boat is a Malibu, MasterCraft, Supra or Nautique, whether you ride Ronix, HO, or Liquid Force boards, or if you are a tour veteran, sponsored pro, or local rider, and if you are a surfer, wakesurfer, wakeboarder, or wakeskater. Everyone needs this app this season.

Can't control the surfer. She just disappears! Don't get it!
Best game ever
The controls are spot on. The game is sure to be da bomb. Recommend for all ages 4-4000. I've been wake surfing for 40 years and this is the is a great learning experience.
