Walking Classroom Podcasts

The Walking Classroom app provides almost 200 fun, educational podcasts for kids in grades 3–8 to listen to while they take a brisk walk.
Podcast topics are aligned with state standards and include:
— Social studies: Civil War, native cultures, middle ages & renaissance, and more!
— Language arts: Writing skills, heroes and legends, literary elements, and more!
— Science: Astronomy, earth science, careers in science, and (you guessed it) more!
Each 15-minute podcast in our 100% ad-free app also includes discussion questions to spark conversation.
The idea behind the research-proven Walking Classroom program is simple: Students a take brisk 20-minute walk while listening to custom-written, kid-friendly educational podcasts. Each podcast begins with a brief health literacy message and includes a character value woven throughout the narrative to support social and emotional learning.
