Ads on a paid subscription

So, I opened up the app for the first time after the new update. I cannot express how disappointed I am. I pay a fee for this app because I have loved this app for a long time. It is a great app with a lot of workouts and options. But, I should not have to look at an advertisement. I open up the app, I’m outside and ready to start my workout, and up pops an ad…. GRRRRR. I close the ad and click start and ANOTHER ad pops up. This is completely unacceptable. I will wait for you to fix this because I have loved this app - but I won’t wait long. I will not pay for an app that I have to watch ads too.

It says I walked 2.43 miles when I actually walked 6.

Generally I like and regularly use Walkmeter. I do question the accuracy of the step length. At 5’7” I doubt very seriously if my step length,as reported, is 4.798 feet.

Love this app

roneulaIphone on

I’ve used this Walkmeter for over nine years and I love all its features, especially the recording of distance, time, speed, and calories burned, oh, and the recording in the calendar for the month and long term history. I just wish it would record in the iPhone health app.

Took a bit of getting used to but support team is wonderful!

Retired and lovin' it on

United States

I needed an app that would track my walking distance as I continue in my journey to recover from a total knee replacement. My recovery has been absolutely brutal! My knee would swell and not bend! Walking my puppy has been one of the ways I am working the knee back to health. I started with the free app but the ads were extremely difficult to get past at first….or I am just not that savvy about how to get past them. I contacted tech support and they were extremely helpful! The app is really helpful and is perfect for my needs! I plan on getting the upgrade to the Elite version.

Aggressive ads popping up all over

HandsOnWheels on

United States

Be prepared to be assaulted with ads that you have to click around, hitting a very small spot to close, then still watching the ad pop open your browser. All while your trying to get in a relaxed mode and get started on your walk.
