The wall app will show you at a glance whether you are in former west or former east-berlin. It does nothing more and nothing less. It was developed to work without internet connection so just download it at your hotel / hostel or apartment and you are free to consult this App anytime you want without worrying about your internet fees. The reason I have built this app is because when I first arrived in Berlin, I could not really tell whether I was in the former east or west. And I was surprised when I found it out at times. This is the beauty of this city with a history of division: it grew together and you might not feel the iron curtain any more. But nevertheless, the best cure against history repeating is to be reminded from time to time. This app is to not forget the past and to cherish the present.
