World Around Me - WAM is your local search guide.
World Around Me is a unique way to find useful places around you - such as restaurants, ATMs, pharmacies, groceries, doctors, shops, recycling centres, bus/metro stations and more. WAM uses your phone’s camera to give you a completely new way of exploring a place, anywhere in the world.
When you point the phone's camera in any direction, then you will see overlays of virtual signboards onto the camera view in that direction. Augmented Reality is thus used to enhance the view of your surroundings. This helps you navigate intuitively to places of your interest, using your phone’s camera.

◆ Find all kinds of places around you using keyword search.
◆ Get useful info such as: WiFi availability, accepts credit cards, takes reservations, has outdoor seating.
◆ Check out directions, phone numbers and more.
◆ Choose between camera, list and map views to navigate.
◆ Rank places around you by distance or importance.
◆ Get the real-time distance to a point of interest. Find out how near you are to a place even as you make your way towards it.
◆ Share location with friends and family. Orient towards their location on camera. Easy to meet friends or family at events or busy locations.
◆"Book a tour" for selected art galleries, museums and also tourist attractions viewed with text search.
◆ Find local "Deals" for things to do, food & drinks, shopping and automotive services like parking.
◆ In England, Wales and Scotland see realtime departure information for trains departing from nearby stations. Trams Stops search category is available in selected cities with tram stops. Also EV Charger point specifications are now available for all nearby EV Chargers.
◆ In London see realtime arrival information for Buses, Underground (Tube) and Trams arriving at nearby stops and stations.
◆ In Switzerland search nearby stations for various modes of transportation, including Bus, Train, S-Bahn, Metro, Tram, Ferry and Cablecar - including Funicular, Chairlift, Cogwheel Train and Elevator. See Realtime departure information for all transport types from all nearby stations.
