It’s good but then all of a sudden my entire game just deleted itself and I lost all my data

Update 28/12/22 - I am losing count of the amount of times that I get kicked out of this app, every single day, it must be in the region of 23-30 times and although it is quick to reload, it is bordering ridiculous. Just as you are about to click on something, the game disappears. Sept 2023 update: still playing this game simply because I haven’t found a replacement. I get kicked out of this app probably around every 5-10 minutes of game time, it crashes and it freezes around every hour. It is still happening almost a year later and the DEVELOPER blames the network taking no responsibility. This week alone, there has been event overload with around 10 simultaneous events. Poor customer service, allows violations of their policy by players using blue stacks to macro attack with multiple accounts. All in all, a great game brought down by those that manage it.

Avoid. Game breaking bugs and subtly addictive. Don’t even start down that road, you’ll regret it

Great game, good for free to play too. Tell ya what tho, please add a loyalist 1000 sons option as a playable commander. I wanna get into the table top as them but kinda wanna ease myself in before I buy the hole collection of miniatures. This game would be a great gate way drug…

Ties into warhammer lore very well

Seasoned player for nearly 3 years. The dev team have slowly made the game more and more pay to win. With this weeks optimised features making it impossible for free to play player from competing in the game. Would not recommend for new players unless you have deep wallets.

Great game, that’s easy to play and more than slightly addictive once you get going. However, there’s nothing more frustrating than having spent weeks building up your forces and your alliance to have a server superpower, wipe everything out within the matter of minutes.

Great base building game, but I hate the pvp! You can loose months of troops of resources in one attack!!

Review I’ve been playing the game for 2 years now. It has increasingly gotten harder and harder to play the game and get parity with pay to win players. The devs add new content (which is good) such as new levels of troops and new heroes, but that content is pretty much unaccessible to those unwilling to spend £100s to get that content. Devs may respond (as they have to other reviews) that players need time and effort to get this content - but it is a totally unreasonable amount of time and effort. The support function in the game has consistently gotten worse and worse. Support regularly take over a month to respond, and normally their first response is to update the game… when the issue is related to either a man made Dev error in game or a server issue. The game is pretty unoptimisable too. After recent updates, they have made the game relaunch and reload every time I come out of the app (on a new iPhone 14 Pro Max) when before I could swap between apps and come straight back into the game. Not ideal if you need to react fast to being attacked by a super whale… Also, to any players looking to play, don’t - there is no way you would be able to catch up to the players who are still in the game. The game is dying as more and more players abandon the game due to the pay to win nature. Server vs server events are skewed when you have players with 1.6 billion power vs 300 million power and alliance vs alliance match ups for events based on power are also being skewed now - last five match ups for an event have seen between about 3 - 10 billion power difference when before (ie over the last year) this never happened (supports response were pretty dismissive of an unfair match up). I do not recommend this game.
