Off the battlefield, you can download and read a wide range of Warhammer Age of Sigmar resources, from every unit's warscroll to entire battletomes and other books – and even individual battleplans, Realm of Battle rules, allegiance abilities and much more!
You can browse and organise warscrolls for your units for easy access, check out the rules for new additions to your collection, and find links to buy models on Games Workshop's webstore. And with the Azyr Army Builder subscription, you can craft an army that will conquer the Mortal Realms.
While you're playing a game, the My Battle tool becomes your one-stop reference for everything you need. Choose a battleplan from among those you've unlocked, add Realm of Battle rules, consult your allegiance abilities and, of course, have all your warscrolls at your fingertips so you’ll never forget that crucial rule that could mean the difference between bitter defeat and glorious victory!

This subscription will automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. The cost of the renewal will match the initial subscription price. You can manage your subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal by going to your ‘Account Settings’ after purchase. No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during the active subscription period.

I like it a lot because I don’t have to bring all my rulebooks and warscroll cards with me.
It is still very much a work in progress though. I have several minor issues with it especially with wascroll battalions and Azyr.
Reading warscrolls in the app vs the battletome can be confusing. For example, A Grand Convocation in the Stormcast battletome uses the LORD-ARCANUM keyword but in the app it reads “Lord-Arcanum” which refers to the unit name. I can understand that the app could have the most updated version. But, when you look at Hammerstrike Force, the app reads “Paladins” and there are no units named Paladins in AoS. The SC battletome uses the PALADIN keyword to refer to the units named “Protectors”, “Decimators”, and “Retributors”. Keywords vs Unit names. In the app, this can be a guessing game.
Azyr issues, that’s a longer list. Here are some:
- doesn’t validate your warscroll battalions. I guess because there is also no feature to let you tag the units that would be included in one
- doesn’t filter selections of allegiance abilities real well. For example, if you are a Stormcast army with a specific Stormhost, it still lists all available artefacts, command traits etc. even though you are forced to take a specific one for your first hero
- let’s you add multiple allegiance abilities to same hero
-let’s you add mount traits to non-heroes
- doesn’t tell you why your army is invalid (e.g. you assigned mount traits to non-hero units, added several artefacts to single hero, chose a different artefact when you are forced to take a specific one based on stormhost, etc).
- UI can be implemented a lot better
These things look simple but can be frustrating to beginners. Especially the validation rules. You are left to figure things out by checking your units one by one to see what you did incorrectly, which can be time comsuming.
On the upside, Azyr does a nice job tracking points for you and let’s you print out a nice list of your army.
Awesome tool to have for Age of Sigmar
This app lets you not only purchase new books. But it also lets you manage the units you unlock for each rulebook/battletome purchases. I just wished it would have provided a total of points and the ability to manage your units in a similar manner as BattleScribe
