Adds repetitive and overbearing
We all know game devs make money off of hosting advertisements and we all accept this as it’s a fair trade off for having access to the art form. Passively creating income for others that have sacrificed their time to provide entertainment is ethical and reasonable, no one can take exception to that. But when there’s literally an add per interaction its more telling of greed and a lack of respect for the consumer who’s only responsibilities are to appreciate and, If a game is good enough, enjoy their experience. There is already an add to reward system in between rounds (granting two experience boosts or one health refill in exchange for three thirty second adds) which would be extremely enticing if not for the absolute abuse of your (the players) time each time you choose to enter the arena, walk through a portal, choose to leave a round or return to the main menu, further, watching any of these invasive clips to completion will potentially remove the reward system between rounds for the entirety of a day. Thus ruining the very notion of a fair trade of time for benefit. The reason this feature makes the game by extension suck so hard in this aspect is that any new player should not be able to convincingly argue they have already paid for a premium account (ironically granting add immunity) based on the revenue they produce by way of constant bombardment of third party advertisements. Games good enough, probably worth a positive review if not for over-saturation. 2/10
