How much does Wasteland Orchard cost?
Wasteland Orchard has several in-app purchases/subscriptions, the average in-app price is $10.99.
The main issues….
No shortcuts/features to reseed the entire map when a storm wipes almost everything. Of course with the option to choose the preferible seeds.
No shortcuts to add auto harvest/mulch/tree stakes/lightning wall/concrete wall to all trees. Trust me this can be time consuming and annoying.
No shortcut/features to see dead trees.
Not possible to make Chests keys, I had 30 Chests but no keys.
Time warp Potions should be easier to come by at the beginning, it’s not like it’s going to kill the game since it’s possible to have unlimited towards the end.
Some storms have 1 huge requirement that’s way above the other elements, maybe balance that a little bit. This usually ends the game since there is no way to prep for that.
hope you like ads
deleted it after growing the very first tree and seeing several ads AND buttons to manually play ads for more rewards. AND real money purchases.
eat my shorts, dude. have game devs forgotten how to make games? everything is this now. waiting and ads. i’m going to throw my phone into the pond and get a flip phone.
Good grind.
I’ve been slowly playing this game for the past few months now and it’s been such a nice grind. No annoying ads or anything of the sort. Truly a gem. 5 stars++++
Seeds

Very enjoyable, but possible save concerns?
Been a fan of this developer’s games for a while now, and was super excited to see an idle game by them. Art style, music, gameplay, aesthetic and more all have entertaining vibes in this game!
Only real concern other than change brought by personal choice is a save bug. I’ve been burned by this before by a different idle game in the past.
— After starting a new cycle, I set things up and left the game to come back later, like normal, but upon return, the game didn’t remember my startup. Specifically, it *did* remember overall progression (golden seeds total) but it forgot my new playthrough. Evidence : old man reappeared and gave starting gift, *new* golden seeds were unallocated again, the map was completely different, and no trees were planted yet.
If that’s the only form of save worries we’ll have, then that’s not the end of the world. I just want to make sure no other save problems happen! I otherwise look forward to playing a lot more and continuing with the great game before us!
Very addictive game and a fun twist to the genre
This game is honestly amazing and is really fun to hyper fixate into. Each time you do a new run there the entire map os randomized causing me to never really get too bored of the game. Despite it being an idle game, you can allocate your in game points to actively speed up time via potions, orrrr treat the game as an actual idle game and wait for resources to come in.
For this game being so new, it has extremely good bones. There are no forced adds, the background music is well made, the gameplay (for an idle game) is extremely enjoyable and well randomized.
From my personal playing experience, I only wish for two things. The frequency in which the time potion enters the shop. I feel like gamers who enjoy faster paced gameplay would frequently use the potion and spend more time in the game. The second input would be a way to quickly switch between all of your trees. I spend more time on the map or the shop rather than checking out and watching the trees I’ve planted grow.
Love it
It’s challenging but not overly so definitely recommend 👍🏻
good concept, poor balance
fun concept but poorly balanced. the biggest issue being the golden seed upgrades. spending them on resistances for the trees takes away the challenge of the game. makes the first few runs feel very hard and the later runs feel too easy. The other golden seed upgrades are also overpowered. The meta progression should be subtle.
time potions are too easy to come by once you get into the habit of buying them every time you see them or making them. I think time warp should either be unlimited or time potions should be much more rare.
this could be a great game with some balance tweaks. there are roguelike elements but there’s almost no meaningful variation between each play through.
Good game, would appreciate some QOL
Really like the mechanics and the game itself is fun. It would be very nice to have a “journal” or something where you can easily find specific trees by their stats - individually clicking through 30+ trees is cumbersome (e.g. if I want to harvest only those trees that will die before the next storm, use mutation potions to save trees from the storm, etc). Really digging it otherwise, thanks!
