I was offered a Year for $14.99. I signed up and was immediately charged. $ 3 9 . 9 9. AND just for giggles, didn’t receive access to the premium content under a paid plan. So yeah- stay away.

I love the app… when it’s working. I purchased the premium version but it doesn’t let me download any premium faces. It tells me I need to upgrade to premium, and when I click that, it says you’re already subscribed. I tried restoring my purchase that didn’t help. I’ve tried contacting Facer and no one has gotten back to me. So frustrating! It’s a vicious circle!
The faces are lovely but none are compatible with my version of Apple Watch. Make sure you have a new device if you hope to use this app. Also the billing is weird. They don’t bill like an app subscription, so canceling with Apple doesn’t cancel the billing. I paid for 3 months before I realized they were still billing me😳
I’ve had this app for months and only been able to successfully use TWO faces! I’m paying for the premium, which is charging me $4.99 per month, but on the app it shows $2.99 a month. So I decided to try the yearly subscription since I couldn’t get the monthly to work. It showed $12.99 for the year but when I click on it, it goes up to $29.99 per year! False advertisement!!! It won’t even let me click on faces to download without going straight to the subscription screen. This app is useless!
Yes, it has a lot of cool faces for your watch but the app is buggy, no direct way to navigate back and forth between your selection and the categories..it always drops me all the way to the homepage. That being said, i did like the offerings of the app regardless of the bugs, so i decided to purchase the year long premium option, that was in December, a few months ago (around April) it stopped giving me access. I couldn’t get to my favorites or set them on my watch. I’ve tried to restore the purchase and nothing happens.
Personally I would choose a different app for this. You can browse what you want but they don’t have a free category, only the top 100 so you have to try and search for it. If you want to make your own you are limited and it cost a one time fee. If you upgrade you can do a little a month or a 1 year they is a bit high, but then after that year it renews at triple the price! It is crazy! I say move to a less greedy app that charges a one time for the face and not a subscription one so when you don’t renew they remove the use of the face from you.
Don’t buy it there’s a subscription For a wallpaper? I can’t even get a fallout wallpaper without paying $14 a year and two dollars a month
If you have an Apple Watch SE second generation it’s not worth the premium. I purchased the premium only to find out that the majority of the watch faces are for series 7 and up, and almost ALL of the cool ones can only be used on the series 7 and up. Very limited selection for anything less than a series 7. And the complications don’t work on most of them. Don’t waste your money like I did. Every time I that I did find a face that looks half decent, it says that it’s only for the series 7 and up. Extremely disappointing. I’d give it ZERO STARS if I could!
I opened the app and I made an account like normal and then I selected the Apple Watch I had and it immediately took me to a screen where it was begging for me to pay either three dollars for the weekly fee or 15 for the yearly fee. Now there is an X and normally the X should work and click out of that page, but it does not let you do that screen recorded video of me tapping in that area 10 seconds straight and I even tried after that to try to click that X but to no avail, it’s still would not budge. Bottom line do not get it. It’s worthless and this is just a copy and paste of every single other Apple Watch face app. This app is truly genuinely nothing special. You can see that from the copy and paste screenshots they provided.
Few things I don’t like that will stop me from renewing the subscription to this app. 1. Requires an internet connection at all times. 2. App has to run in the background on your watch to keep the face updating. Eats battery. 3. Since it’s a subscription service the watch faces need to be verified on reboot or first download and leave a blank template for upwards of 5 minutes before showing up. 4. Of the 300,000 advertised watch faces most are absolutely redundant. I found about 10 faces to use. 5. The search function and library in the app are poorly designed, finding watch faces is not streamlined at all. You cannot refine your searches and are stuck scrolling through hundreds, if not thousands of faces. 6. Subscription fee doubles after first year. Pros are that there are a handful of cool watch faces. If this app functioned as well as the Apple Watch app and kept the watch faces locally so they load promptly it would be worth it.
